What!! Thank you 😊 I don't know if this is you personally commenting, but if so, I love your work and super happy you've persevered through these past years to keep PVRIS alive 🤘
The album is fucking phenomenal and astonishing. Thank you so much PVRIS! and thank you Kim for a very engaging and thought provoking review. I absolutely loved this video❤❤❤
my only critique of the album is that i just wish it was longer lol, most of the songs are under 3 minutes😭 other than that though, this album is so so good and i’m happy to see how lynn has developed as an artist, both lyrically and sonically. the last two songs of this album are some of my favorite songs pvris has ever released :) (loved your reaction btw)
I am never disappointed by anything they do. They always produce bangers. I agree some ofthe songs should have been longer is all. Hype Zombies was probably my favorite 🔥🔥🔥
Same Justin, always happy with what they put out. I'm really looking forward to where she goes from now on as well cause the artistic vision for this album is just 👌
Hey, found you completely by accident here but I was interested in what other people thought and I loved what you had to say especially since my usual sentiments are just "Wow that sounds sick" but the things behind it that you pointed out are not sth I usually notice! I discovered PVRIS during the Use Me cycle and I'm in love with what they do with every single album. This one was great as well and I've had it on repeat since it dropped. Maybe as a note, as I understand it, PVRIS was always more or less Lynn's project and it was her creative force - for the first two albums, she wasn't allowed to make that public tho, due to their label at the time. When Use Me dropped with Warner, she was allowed to take ownership of her work, but obviously a whole bunch of other problems came with warner, hence why they had the messy breakup before being with hopeless records now. :) Thank you for the vid! loved your reactions.
Just a little note. Pvris worked with 070 Shake for the song Use Me on their third album. Raye was on the song Thank you which was on the use me deluxe. Nice review. I think use me is lyrically stronger and the better album overall. But Evergreen is good and seems totally Lynn without label interference.
Gah Headlights is my favorite from this one, absolutely love their old and new music so much. Was so happy when I heard they were doing Riot Games anthem for World's a while back!!
Thank you for this review. It's giving me new appreciation for the album. And, i didn't know that the first song was about Lynn's battle with the label 😮
Amazing insight into the music as always, saw the album cover on Instagram and it really stood out to me but haven't listened to PVRIS before so this video was a great introduction, will definitely be checking out the earlier albums now, love the 'heaviness' in their sound 🙌
Added. Love artists that pay homage to a song, beat, or genre throwing in Easter Eggs or by elevating it instead of doing a cashgrab cover song. This was fun. I'm diving in!
Ive played this albumn almost nonstop last yr but even a lot now also. It came out pretty much when my whole life was going to shit. And my appreciation for this album and All we know of heaven, all we need of hell will always sit with me. Cause I really felt alone abandoned and had to force myself to stay as level headed as possible. I got the opportunity to see them live with VIP and when I tell you, seeing her live is like almost an indescribable experience. She sounds amazing. Literally just like the album. I cried and sang for headlights, anywhere but here and hype zombies. Im determined see to them again in June. Absolutely love their music, they're so underrated ❤

This is such a good review! I love how in depth it is and how you point out the little details, I’ve listened to this album so many times and this review made me notice new details in the songs which makes me appreciate the album even more. Thank you!
I interpreted it as more of a misery loves company, a strong friendship gone sour, maybe some gaslighting occurred, and snake-like behavior/backstabbing. I could be completely wrong. I’m very curious though. 17:28
I'm new here but I love musicians doing reactions, you just bring an insight we civilians don't always see. By the way I just watched Bleeding Red and loved it. I don't normally subscribe after just 1 song, but you earned it. 🔥 If its possible could you do a reaction to one of my favorite bands? The Warning is a power trio, 3 sisters. Animosity is my favorite song. Thanks for the reaction, I will be checking out the rest of your work and this band.
"We civilians" 🤣 haha you made me laugh. Thanks for your comment pepe. I'll check them out although I don't really do reaction videos anymore. Thanks for the sub!
@@KimLachanceMusic Thanks and I really liked your Bleeding Red video. if you do watch any of their songs try Revenant or Black Holes. you may like them best.
When I found out that Mike Shinoda produced a song on the album, I thought it would be Animal, for some reason it reminds me of Hit The Floor Anyway, I quite liked the album, as well as your review. great video, pretty
I've been listening to this album whilst out on runs for the past week or so now and it's really hyped me up! Have you ever listened to 'brakence' before? Would love to hear your opinion on his most recent album 'Hypochondriac'!
Amazing amazing review!!

Absolutely stunning album to hear and experience. Lynn you and your music is a work of art that deserves way more appreciation.

Hype zombies was the best but way too short😢
Yeah I agree, I would have enjoyed even more of the songs. Thanks for your comment Jay 🙂

Ah thanks for the correction! Agreed with you last comment, this definitely feels like Lynn got to take more creative direction on this album cycle
Gah Headlights is my favorite from this one, absolutely love their old and new music so much. Was so happy when I heard they were doing Riot Games anthem for World's a while back!!
Me too! Old and new, PVRIS is just great 😁
Thanks for the review. I really like the album. I found them last year when I listened to Use me and I fell in love with her voice.

pvris is my absolute fav band and good enemy and evergreen just hit so hard i've listened to the whole album like 1000 times

Oh damn I didn't know that! That's awesome, Mike is great, he is also someone I respect a lot as an artist and person. Thanks for your comment Jose ☺️

Haven't hear of brakence no, but if it's anything similar to PVRIS I'd probably like it
@@KimLachanceMusicI would highly recommend giving him a listen. You won't regret it!
Honestly i found this album is boring, I normally feel like pop music with sad lyrics is boring and a bad sign.
