I think the folding up of his jacket, and the water pouring down are call backs to the point of realisation in Money Game pt 1, when he removes the cape and pours the petrol over his head, each time eluding to ending the story there. Each new thing has something old in it, tying together the line of stories.

Also the rain falling on him is a callback to money game 2 calling back to the chorus "Oh, rain, rain ... We're all part of this old money game"

He's currently turning the classic cult favorite film "The Warriors" into a musical but yeah, that would be quite the pairing.
The song is amazing, but the camera work is INSANE
One line that maybe went over your head Knox (Don't blame you, you have a ton to unpack in a small amount of time lol), when Ren says "Eating off a silver spoon and then chasing the dragon," that, I believe, is an intentional double. Eating off a silver spoon, as in being rich and given everything, but then using that spoon to cook the drugs he's using, chasing the dragon. Brilliant wordplay!
Also, "Rain, rain, rain, rain...A storm it comes our way. And those who rise through distorted lies, poison in their veins," The chorus from the original Money Game 1 and 2...It comes full circle with the ending of the story where Jimmy comes in soaking wet from being in the rain. And he has his finger on the trigger of a money game, but this time, the gun is aimed at himself, not at the others that he wanted to profit off. Money does not equal happiness. You can only find that from within yourself through love, patience, and respect for yourself and others. I think it's pretty clear that this is the message here. Chasing wealth and fame over everything and everyone will not only NOT bring you joy, it will destroy you. It will eat you from the inside out. Like mold growing on the surface of a petri dish, people chasing wealth will consume, consume, consume, but eventually they will die with a broken heart and a rotten soul.
Ren...you are an inspiration and an incredibly talented, intelligent and gifted artist. Keep killing it!

There's certain points through Ren's videos where i think he's been inspired by things like "don't hug me i'm scared" and other artists who tell stories in rap like Akala another UK rapper. It's great and so masterfully put together. I'm so glad Ren's making waves, they're the messages we really need as a species and he's like a mirror held to us all.
I thought I was the only one that would ever make that connection. My first listen to money game part 3 I could have sworn I heard don't hug me im scared influence 😂
I feel like the concept may have been inspired by Handlebars - Flobot, but to use an analogy, Ren took the concept from the local pub to the Albert Hall.

Ren could write the entire screenplay and direct, he's proven himself
I see it more in a. Tarantino movie, a Scorcese movie or something like Scarface. Bond would not be a good one because in all movies Bond is a good man and there is always a happy ending with Bong saving the world from bad guys. It is not the case here. It is more like the Godfather or scarface (you sympathize with the bad guys even though they use graphic violence to solve their problems. I think it is definitely like a mix between Scarface and House of Cards

It's the last line of an 1897 poem by Edwin Arlington Robinson called Richard Cory. Paul Simon made it into a song .

The song is indeed a fucking masterpiece, but your reaction was amazing. All your reactions are, but the fact that you were there for part of it makes it more special , loved hearing you talk about the recording and everything. As for the song itself, the story it tells is sadly true for some people, the cinematography is brilliant, every little detail, Ren's acting, you can really tell how much detail and thought Sam and him put into every music video and it's great. The tale of Jenny and Screech is still my favourite series by Ren, but Money Game is a close second because of all the truths Ren speaks that really make you think about society and capitalism as a whole. It's so so good I was left speechless after seeing the MV. Congrats on yet another great Ren reaction, man!

Money Game 3-(aka) Jimmy’s Tale.
Ren has the piano skills of Tony Banks, lyricism of Eminem and theatrical presence of Peter Gabriel. He’s a triple threat no one can beat.
Superb reaction to the final part of money game. Ren is attempting to create a movement. Something we’ve not seen since the boom of rave culture in the uk in the early 90s. Something where people rise against the system to create a sense of unity and joy. We’re no longer bound to the societal expectations- get an education, get a job, buy a house, raise children, repeat. We need to open our eyes. We need to see that those in power are just driven by greed and will lie, steal and cheat to get there. We as societies cannot accept this any more. It’s time for change, and that time is now. The human existence should be one of joy and love, not one of despair and constant desire for more and more until there’s nothing left to satisfy us. The renvolution is coming.
I love Ren’s self referential Easter eggs too…those initial vocals were very reminiscent of Jenny/Screech/Violet’s Tales…he’s prepping his audience that he’s telling another story of life & death. He builds on his own mythology, twists it and takes it to places none of expect until we’re landed in the middle of it, then it’s like; uh, der…of course nothing else would make sense. He’s a lyrical, conceptual version of an M. C. Escher print. And then of course Sam renders the story into visually rich videos that are just as important to the mythological opus Ren is steadily building. Gentlemen, respect!
