Thank you so much for this video, after watching several videos, nothing got my Honda working again, so after I quit trying to fix it my self, I picked up the phone to call the tow truck, that is when I came across your video, I located this very same large fuse with the screws... I decided, this will probably will not be it too just like my other failed attempts but what the hell... Well, when I pulled it out, part of the fuse was blown, I got a ride to the dealership, it cost 32 dollars, I replaced it and my car is working like new again!!! I feel like I owe you money because I was going to spend 180 to get my car towed to the Honda dealership, then pay 162 dollar per hour for labor cost plus the actual fuse!!! I can say that you have saved me over $200 easy!!! I decided to share my two cents with you because I want you to know that these videos are important and they have value .... And sure, maybe not a lot of people watched it because it may not be that popular, but some like myself really needed this video and I was stuck at home for days without a car because my Honda would not start and then your video came along and changed all that!!! Again I feel in debt to you because of this video... That's exactly what I have my Honda Civic is a 2001 model. Had to leave my car in the work parking lot overnight I had the battery charged at automotive place they said the battery is good and it is fully charged now. Reattached it to the car my car but still no power not even to the door locks. Only brake lights but no other lights worked so I'm going to try this and let's see and hope that this works. Just wanted to say thanks for the info. I had a 05 Civic that had no power, even though I changed the battery. I got a multimeter, tested the 80A fuse for continuity. There wasn't any. I pulled it out, and sure enough it was fried. (I think my knuckleheaded friend put the battery in backwards initially, causing the fuse to go). I replaced the fuse today and all is well! Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Thank you! No other video showed this specific problem! In a pinch I switched that one out with the other one next to it (it just controls the TPMS). Car started up and I got it home!

My 2006 Honda Accord EX has had issues with this before and I always thought it was the key fob's security. Now it won't do anything with the key. The buttons on the fob don't even do anything and I just drove it this morning. I'm about to go try changing this fuse now to see if that fixes the problem. You are right that none of the so called experts on UA-cam have any videos on this. I'm glad you do. Now to see if it works!

thanks dude I just replace my engine harness on my 09 coupe ex and has the same symptoms of your and I did look on that fuise but I didn't take out yet was thinking maybe I burn down my ECU or ECM but before replace I'm going to try that first because I have power on the lights on the roof but windows dosen't works when I open the inicition or riado so I put a scanner and say reading and error that's all

Had the same issue in my 2014 Honda Civic, no power, no crank. Only had power to my flashers and horn. Bought a main fuse from the dealership for $30 (CAD) , took two seconds too replace. Very simple
I spend money on a new battery for nothing ima make a video and post it up this really helped out alot

Thank you very much for posting this video, it was a $13 fix for me. Know anything about the power windows in a 2007 honda accord, it went out some time ago. Dad checked everything out as far as I know. He thinks it needs a new motor. I don't know. Appreciate any advice. Thanks again.
You are very welcome, just check if you can hear the window motor turning or not, can also be relay.
With that age of Accord, order new window motor. There are videos that show how to change it.

I hope this works even on a 2001 Honda Civic because this is the exact issue of my car is having after I accidentally left my headlights on and ran the battery down I took the battery off and had it charged at a autoparts store. There they said the battery is good. But when I put it back on my car the car still had no power, just like the one in the video. I've never owned a Honda before so thank you for the info. I hope this works since it's a different year model but the issues are the same thank you thank you again.

Good news, I followed your instructions on the video and replaced the battery fuse located under my hood . It was a lower Amp for my 2001 HONDA CIVIC but generally everything else was the same installation was easy. As soon as I turned the key my car started without any hesitancy. Thank

Dude the same thing happened with me after a short run I switched off my ignition switch and after 20 or 25 min same thing happened while I was trying to swich it on nothing happens bt then I waited for like 15 min and this time when I try to swich it on it works so what was that? If you drive hard then yes, motor mount will go bad quickly.
So my 2009 Honda Civic radio doesn’t turn on and now it’s effecting my door locks it won’t read the key remote to open them i think that has to do with the antitheft on the radio. I checked both radio fuse and door lock fuse and it’s good??? What do you think could be the problem?? Thank you for your time.

So my 07 civic si is doing the exact same thing but I checked the fuse and it doesn’t appear to be blown. The only thing that works on my car is the head lights and horn and the si emblem on the dash.

Goto AutoZone, you can borrow their equipment for free. AutoZone might request for your CDL or ID.

Different vehicles have different symptoms and need or require troubleshoot. You can use a test meter to see if your fuse is good or not and then move forward.
What is that specific part in the fuse youve changed? Need to purchase same but idk how you call it
Contact your dealer for the exact fuse that match with your vehicle.
I have 1994 honda Civic my battery just drains over night after working all day....Just replace posts and alternator is good I had it checked. Can it be a fuse or relay???
How old is your battery? If your battery drain like that it should be some kind of short or alternator is not working right. Keep us posted if your problem is resolved by changing your post & alternator, thank you.

It doesn't hurt to try, must get the correct fuse and type.
I saw your video just have a question my battery works car inside has light only when i start my car it sounds like dying i have new batterry should i change same fuse as you did?
It could be many things such as: Starter, Relay, & All the comments that went over but if the symptom similar like the one in my video then it will be the fuse.

If you can start your car then it will not be the fuse. Check your battery level and if it is bad then might not have enough juice to keep your car smooth or it could be something else.

This helped but The car still won’t start without a jump and once the cables come off the car shuts off
That means you will need to check into your Alternator or Spark Plugs

I did a little research on your car, it could be your Ignition Switch(your might have a recall on this) or check on Main Engine Relay or Oxygen Sensor. Good luck.

Yes, either you jump your car battery or have too much AMP or current toward the fuse then it will blow.

It can be many things with the starter, fuel filter, fuel pump, faulty battery, alternator, engine intake issue, electrical or wiring issue, fuel and air mixture and etc. Get a scanner from your local auto parts store for a free scan tool.

You might need a special tool to remove it (screw or fuse?).
Hello, I have a 2007 Honda Civic LX 2 door , it literally has no power at all. When I try to unlock my car with my keys it does not respond to me. I have to get into my car through my trunk and jump my car. Once I jump my car, it’s good for the day but then the next morning it’s like I have to re do the whole process to start my car. My battery and alternator are 100% working fine so I believe the issue lies with in the fuses. I will by trying this out tomorrow hopefully it fixes my issue!!! I need my daily
