When I went to School it was Hair Straightener ( Sodium Hydroxide / Guanidine Carbonate ) only used on Healthy, UnTreated Hair to make it ‘Bone Straight’ - Never used on hair that was Color -Treated or Bleached / Highlighted. Curl Relaxer ( Ammonium Thioglycolate / Ammonium or Sodium Bisulfate ) to loosen curls to a more manageable state, process could be repeated for greater relaxation - Could be used on Color - Treated Hair in good condition. Curl Rearranger, hair was treated with a mild Ammonium Bisulfite solution to soften and relax curl then rolled on perm rods or curlers and another mild solution of Bisulfite Or Thioglycolate was applied, processed and Neutralized to give a larger, softer curl that could be restyled even to a straight look. None of these treatments was recommended for Bleached or Highlighted Hair as it was deemed too fragile.
You are Sooooo pretty! I don’t relax or texturize but your voice is very relaxing! Very informative video 🙂Im newish to UA-cam and I looooooooove your energy and editing!!!! You have a new friend here!
No my luv, telaxed - is achieved by leaving on the relaxer for 2-3 minutes, this can sometimes cause inconsistency. Texturiser - is achieved by using a texturiser which is not designed to make the hair bone straight.
Such a simple and easy breakdown! Absolutely loved this

Can you first try a texturizer and then decide (maybe after a month) to relax your hair?
I'm currently transitioning and its just too painful. I have been considering texturising. This video gave me my reassurance
glad I could be of some help xx
is “telaxed” and “texturised” the same thing ?
