@@iseekblinds As we are in lockdown in Melbourne, I've not been able to fix it just yet as we are not allow to venture to far from home and the blind is at another property down by the coast. I will write again once I've fixed it. It looks so easy. I hope I don't stuff it up. The only problem is the chain broke in a few parts but that shouldn't matter I hope.
@@anabee2080 no worries at all. I'm sure once we can all move around freely again (we are also in Melbourne), you'll be able to fix the chain. Please contact us directly at sales@iseekblinds.com.au or on 1300 664 257 if you need help once you get to the property. Take care :-)
Thank you for this! Store where purchased unable to help other than to tell me to bring it in so they could send back to factory. It took me 1 min to fix after watching this. You are the best!!!
Hi Davin, you can purchase a new chain from our Spare Parts area on the website. These are a continuous loop so they will be able to go around the chain drive. Cheers iseekblinds
Hi Shuki - the hardware we use in our blinds enables us to easily pop the blind out of the brackets by rotating the wheel on the pin end. Perhaps your blind hardware is different to what we use? Good luck with taking yours down, we hope you get there!
Chain fix for RollerBlind. In case you are here to reattach the chain for a Louvolite Shade System 40 clutch R3025, this is what you do Remove blind - steps to do this: - roll up blind (if you can with a little force, but not essential), push chain end in a direction it will move a little, usually up, push toward other end., it should now be detachable from chain end) Once removed, roll up blind if is not already Pull out mechanism on chain end from the roller tube - the whole chain enclosure mechanism should slide out - use a flathead screwdriver to ease out if necessary. Remove the plastic pin from point at the end, prise out with a small Phillips screwdriver in the hole if can't do manually Replace the chain - if it has a joiner the make sure it is placed close the mechanism on the side where the chain is chain is will drop down. Reverse process to refit. Note: the three lugs on the chain end should be faced upright, ensure blind is facing correct direction.
