That's why I never seriously played this game. It makes me so mad because it was advertised to be a game where you catch pokemon and then you can battle your friends just like the games. Instead they did a stupid fighting mechanic and made it not fun to do anything but catch pokemon

they still plan on adding these features.(possibly this summer) but they have added quest to the game with a little story for finding mew(more coming soon). its still mostly a collectithon type of game but it does have a good community all across the world that still loves the game(meeting up to help with Legendary raid pokemon and big events). but chances are if u dont like pokemon or going outside then this game isnt for u.
there has also been a lot of fixes to the game to make it less of a grind, making the original pokemon go look a lot different fro what we have now. including a weather feature that makes rarer pokemon easier to find and stronger.

Ive caught Kangaskhan and Farfetchd The TMs arent really that rare. I have 26 TMs i havent used
Tomi Lohtander most the issues he addressed was when the game first came out. Now there’s quest , events almost every month, community day , and raid battles that are actually fun with a group of friends. This wasn’t meant to play as a single player experience
Yennie Fer The reason it doesn’t track all of your distance at times is because it runs on a small timer- every 15 seconds (maybe, forgot how long), it’ll measure how far you’ve gone in the form of a straight line. That means if you did any sort of weaving or turning in those 15 or so seconds, the game will cut out the steps you did to make the turn.
If you played the main series games on the game boy and DS, you had to walk the eggs there as well. It's actually an amazing feature of PoGo that is literally copied and pasted from the main series. I live in a town of around ten thousand people, so eggs are a great way to get rare and good IV Pokemon for me personally. If its the tracking that bothers you, what would you expect from a cell phone? Most don't come equipped with satellite grade GPS tracking to count every step. That is not a flaw with the game, it is something concerning the phone itself. I'm genuinely curious as to what bothers you about hatching eggs..?
Damn, to be honest I really miss Pokémon go. It was so much fun to see something new like this, and it was awesome to see Pokémon be this popular again. I had so many good memories with this game, and even though it had glaring flaws, i loved it.
You can still play it. It is a better expirience since lauch. When raids were added, my area had a resurgence of players. As someone who never left, i was shocked to see 6 others at my first raid (a tyranitar too). Though i didnt run into anyone again till legendaries were released. About 10 others were at the first raid i went to. And after a few days of going to each legendary raid and praying to arceus that others would be there (i would run into people every now and then) until someone told me about the local discord group, which ive been part of ever since, which is a big help
Doesn’t matter if they update their game anymore. They had their chance to make the game better. It's simply too late for the game. people left and are never coming back. It’s like throwing pebbles at 100 bears. yes some bears are going to come and try to get you but others will just walk away
Lots of people still play the game tho. The game is far from dead. They need to keep updating the game and they do. Of course they're not gonna have numbers like they did in the first few months. Everyone was playing it, but you're not gonna keep everyone playing it two years later. Now they're giving people what they want. They're listening to the public. It's not too late for the game at all because they're still running one of the biggest apps out there. It's not fair to assume that because you don't play it that no one else does. I for one think they have been doing fantastic with the latest updates. They're seeing more people join now then leave. Pokemon GO is far from dead.

Yeah, I stopped playing Pokemon Go REAL quick because I lived in a relatively small city and I barely saw any Pokemon. Also, is that how you say "Valor" where you're from? I've ALWAYS heard "vah-lor".
That's not entirely true, they released about three updates in the last eight weeks before my university's semester ended. That's pretty frequent. If you're meaning major updates, that's fair. But, you shouldn't be expecting them to create research level updates every two or so months for a game they need to ensure the stability of.
I'm going to be honest I still play the game and while yes it has issues it's definitely improved. For example: You can catch legendaries without having to go to raids, helping those players in rural towns to get them all. Yeah the rare only catchable Pokemon in certain places suck. But hopefully trading does get implemented I think Niantic just got overwhelmed way too much. Especially when players complained about EVERYTHING. Especially the tracking system which Niantic tried to fix but sadly made it worse. I dunno why they don't just let players use a tracking system that actually works, it's not like they are losing money. But I only play so I have something fun to do while walking plus I don't spend any actual money on it besides the data which isn't that bad.
I can give you my top 3 why I stopped! 1 No direct battles vs friends. What is the point of catching pokemon for battles if you can't battle! 2 The battle system. Where are the four moves? Touching your screen again and again you say? Man this isn't tap titans or fruit ninja! 3 Evolving with candies. Nobody has time to catch 100 of the same pokemon. And turning pokemon into candy is kidfriendly? SMH This game had potential honestly.. But the mistake was to not make it a typical pokemon game with minor tweaks to fit the current game types on mobile phones.

Antivoid you don’t have to catch 100 of the same in most cases. Pokemon give 3 candy upon catch, 4 if you transfer it. If you use a pinap berry to catch it you earn 6 candy, 7 if you transfer it.

Yeah the part about the Poke-stops is so true! My mom works at a place for the criminally insane and some patients are allow to wander on campus. Why am I saying this? Cause having several poke-stops at an place for the criminally insane is a wonderful idea! It got so bad they had to put signs warning people not to come on campus
For me PoGo was fun at first, but after a while it just felt like a novelty that became incredibly stale and repetitive after a while. That, and not only was it incredibly bare-bones, glitchy and way too grindy, but Niantic drip-feeded content soooooo~ slowly, when FE Heroes has new stuff added to it every other week. Which’s what kept me playing it. Even if it SUCCs my phone’s storage space dry. I stopped playing shortly after raid battles were introduced, so who knows?🤷🏽♀️Maybe the new additions since then have made the game at least a bit better. One thing that bugs me is not everyone can get ahold of a legendary. Raid battles require a person to have a big network of friends. Those who lack that and the ability to make them just won’t ever get a legendary. Also, the time you’ve got for legendary raid battles before the legendaries switch countries or disappear is waaaaaaaay too short. A lot of people might not have time to play.
Well, if you think about it. Trading would be too OP because people would log out of their accounts, create new ones, and catch the same Pokémon that spawned. then trade it to their main account, That would make 2 problems: 1. Basically infinite Rare Pokémon. 2. Basically infinite candy.

Your goal is to get your entire city gold in gym badges. Yes, you CAN get gym badges. I know people who have entire cities (over 150 gyms) gold! And guess what, they're Instinct as well :P
I stopped playing cause I live out in the country and couldn't find pokemon at all. I hate the fact that you have to live in a big city to have any kind of fun with this game.
Luna Deafenhine "GPS signal lost" "internet connection lost" - that is so far the only fun I had living in a city. There might be lots of Pokemon and Pokestops and Gyms but I can be glad if my GPS and internet stays for at least one whole ninute for that app. And that is literally the only app where I have that problem and it only happens when I'm in a city, never on the countryside.
You know that there's a special raid for mewtwo, tasks to do daily, capturing mew THROUGH TASKS, communication days where they give shiny along with candies, events that change the location of some regional pokemon(farfetch'd was in europe for 1 day), nests that make pokemon spawn then disappear(because they're here only for a time period) and lastly, RAIDS. You might not be battling 1v1 but raids certainly are harder than what pvp would be. There are many features people haven't thought about that were in the game. It's a brand new page now. Plus you can go to "battery saver" if you don't have battery.

Alright so I play this a lot, we have a pretty active community for this game where I live, so I’m just going to not a few additional mistakes for the sake of clearifaction. 43 - you do get gym badges. The are awarded to you for visiting a new gym and get progressively upgraded as you rank them up earning you more bonuses. 30 - steps are counted accurately, there is just a speed limit that makes sure you don’t cheat by driving around with the game on. 20 - no one died as a result of Pokémon Go. The game shouldn’t be blamed for people not following the law while driving or not being safe in dangerous areas. Any other deaths related to Pokémon Go were coincidental such as a heart attack or a random shooter showing up. 7 - you made a minor note that flashes for a sec, but I will again mention you can always have your team changed if you email Niantic. And you can always fight together in raids regardless of Team. All other points reasonably solid. I will defend them on delaying trading though, although hacking and spoofing have been cracked down on super hard recently they want to ensure Pokémon obtained illegally won’t be traded around. The game definitely isn’t perfect, but it’s getting there.
I was late to try out Pokemon GO, but I got bored almost immediately. Part of it was because my phone didn't have a gyroscope so I couldn't see the Pokemon as if they were really in my neighborhood, which was what I was most interested in. Also, I was disappointed when I realized I couldn't take my Squirtle and battle wild Pokemon with it, which I assumed would be part of the game. I stopped playing almost as soon as I started because it just didn't impress me.

I remember your first Pokemon Go video when your dad called you during the recording and you forgot to edit out his number and you had to reupload it xD
A big minus is also how you they changed the gym rewards system. Now you can only get a max of 50 coins for each Pokémon in a gym (1 coin/10 min). That part I don’t mind that much, however, the only way to claim your coins is if you’re Pokémon gets defeated. So after you’re Pokémon has 50 coins ready and waiting, you’re in an awkward situation where you HOPE you lose the gym. There should be a call or claim option
They could improve the game by making it so I could still play. My phone isn't even that old. I got to level 32 and then abruptly couldn't play anymore because my device is no longer compatible.

have you even played the game since last summer when the gym update went live? also, some of the graveyard pokestops are because of ingress, from there all the stops and gyms come from, and travelers there are sometimes putting graves as a point of interest

the problems I have come across during my time playing pokemon go: -Advanced sync started fucking with me the moment I had reached 50 km for the second time, at first when I would ride my bike I would at leased get half of the km I made on a day, I would usually turn on the game when I left work and would ride home, the distance is a solid 8 km, first it would either count all 8 km or at least 4, now it only counts 1,5 km. bullshit! -the eevee name trick doesn't work anymore, for one of the ripple in time researches you need to evolve an eevee to umbreon at night, it's night time right now in the netherlands, I gave eevee the nickname Tamao, started the evolution....and got a goddamn jolteon. (also just read that one of the final ripple in time tasks is throwing a excellent curveball...I would probably break my phone first before I ever make that happen) 2:15 you don't have to travel around the world anymore. seeing how I keep seeing 'trade' as an option when you are friends with someone in the game I here by offer a trade to players from around the globe: if you want a mr. mime or if you're like me and want one of both sexes, I can help you out with that, I live and europe and I have been catching multiple mr. mimes for a while now and now I have enough to make the following trades -male and female mr. mime for 2 tauros (I prefer one with best attribute being attack and the other defense) -male and female mr. mime for both male and female farfetch'd (both with attack being the best attribute or with attack + HP/defense) -male and female mr. mime for both male and female Corsola (both with attack being the best attribute or with attack + HP/defense) -male and female mr. mime for both male and female Heracross (both with attack being the best attribute or with attack + HP/defense) -male and female mr. mime for 2 Kangaskhan (one with best attribute being attack and the other defense) -male and female mr. mime for both male and female Tarkoal (both with attack being the best attribute or with attack + HP/defense) -male and female mr. mime for both male and female Tropicus (both with attack being the best attribute or with attack + HP/defense) -male and female mr. mime for both male and female Relicanth (both with attack being the best attribute or with attack + HP/defense) I would also like to trade pokémon like Zangoose, Volbeat and Solrock for the pokémon Seviper, Illumise and Lunatone but right now I don't have many of them so as soon as I have some in stock I would like to trade these pokémon around as well. most of the the mr. mime's I can trade have attack as their best attribute but I also have some with defense, with both attack and defense or with HP and attack/defense and i assure all of the mr. mime's I offer are able to fight, so you won't get one that can't do shit in battle. Hi. Team Cynic here. And I believe there's nothing Niantic can do to fix Pokemon Go. I was slightly interested when the game first released, but once I opened the game I knew it just wasn't something for me. I just prefer the regular canon games.
That moment when you are standing still waiting at a bus stop for ten minutes and the game suddenly tells you that you are moving too fast. What I don't understand is how the hell this game has so massive problems finding GPS signals or internet connection in the middle of a city. Other apps use those as well and they never failed me - with Pokemon Go I can be lucky if I don't lose those connections for one whole minute.

As much as I love this game and still play it every day, you pretty much pointed out everything that annoys me about it. Not being able to change teams, region exclusive Pokemon, the egg walking thing only counting your steps accurately if you walk in a straight line. I also wish there was a way to make it easier to get Pokemon that you don't have in your Dex, like a Pokemon wish list of sorts.
I have a problem with this video. Most of your points to why Pokemon Go isn't as good as it used to be isn't the games fault. It's all because of the players fault. So don't go complaining about things in the game that Niantic can't do anything about.
If they had MUCH better community communication, fixed some of the major problems from when it was first released but most importantly, if they fixed rural gameplay the game would probably still be immensely popular.
To be fair, I kinda understand why people Spoof, because if you live in the middle of nowhere, you can't spawn anything but Pidgey, whereas your friend in the big city will spawn hundreds of rare Pokemon you'll never see at all.
I hate how difficult it can be to get items if you aren't buying them. We're already spending hours at a time walking around to play the game not to mention most likely shredding through cellular data.
I play it with my kids just to get out of the house and stroll around the block everyday. We beat the gym, and when we come back the next day, the same team that we defeated yesterday is back and have defeated the pokemon we left there; so there must be a loyal fanbase. However, everyone I meet in town that still plays are old people, grandpas with gray hair and everything. Kinda weird.
They should make special trainers at gyms once battling is integrated. They can be like raid bosses but instead known as Gym bosses. You battle them and gain stuff like special items and Stardust. Gym Boss: Brock Level: 1 Ace: Onix Reward: 10 Onix candies and 10000 Stardust Gym Boss: Bruno Level: 2 Ace: Machamp Reward: 20 Machop Candies and 20000 Stardust Gym Boss: Giovanni Level: 3 Ace: Rhydon Reward: 30 Rhyhorn Candies and 30000 Stardust
I never played this game because when it launched I was busy and by the time it had winded down I didn’t find a reason to. I really don’t like apps that much, and besides, people that I knew that said they hated Pokémon downloaded this game just because it was popular, only to delete it later because it wasn’t cool anymore. I didn’t have a reason to hop on the bandwagon back in 2016.
My, and I'm sure many others', end game goal is to find a perfect IV of every pokémon, a living shiny dex (obviously, we'll need more storage as the game gets bigger), max out all my favourite teams (which will require a lot of stardust!)... there's a lot to do, I feel. Always something to grind towards. I'm currently (still) looking for a perfect IV Pidgey... You'd think with it being so common I'd see at least one by now, but no. I have three perfect IV aggron, three perfect Alakazam, and no Pidgey
I stopped playing this game ages ago because I live in a small town where I have to walk halfway across town just to get to the nearest Pokestop or gym. The most exciting Pokemon that shows up is usually a Raticate. The only place nearby where I can get anything decent or get any Pokeballs is in a theme park miles away from town. Meanwhile anyone who lives in a big city already has a level 1,000 Nidoqueen.

In my hometown there are 3 mystics including me. 10 instincts and 20+ valors. It really sucks tbh because i get the mininum amount of balls in raids. Or if i want to raid nobody comes.
1) With the Quest System, there is now an end game. 2) Whoever claims, that this game doesnt allow you to play with your friends has not understood the raid system.

Tomi Lohtander most the issues he addressed was when the game first came out. Now there’s quest , events almost every month, community day , and raid battles that are actually fun with a group of friends. This wasn’t meant to play as a single player experience

Yennie Fer The reason it doesn’t track all of your distance at times is because it runs on a small timer- every 15 seconds (maybe, forgot how long), it’ll measure how far you’ve gone in the form of a straight line. That means if you did any sort of weaving or turning in those 15 or so seconds, the game will cut out the steps you did to make the turn.

If you played the main series games on the game boy and DS, you had to walk the eggs there as well. It's actually an amazing feature of PoGo that is literally copied and pasted from the main series. I live in a town of around ten thousand people, so eggs are a great way to get rare and good IV Pokemon for me personally. If its the tracking that bothers you, what would you expect from a cell phone? Most don't come equipped with satellite grade GPS tracking to count every step. That is not a flaw with the game, it is something concerning the phone itself. I'm genuinely curious as to what bothers you about hatching eggs..?

Damn, to be honest I really miss Pokémon go. It was so much fun to see something new like this, and it was awesome to see Pokémon be this popular again. I had so many good memories with this game, and even though it had glaring flaws, i loved it.
You can still play it. It is a better expirience since lauch. When raids were added, my area had a resurgence of players. As someone who never left, i was shocked to see 6 others at my first raid (a tyranitar too). Though i didnt run into anyone again till legendaries were released. About 10 others were at the first raid i went to. And after a few days of going to each legendary raid and praying to arceus that others would be there (i would run into people every now and then) until someone told me about the local discord group, which ive been part of ever since, which is a big help

Lots of people still play the game tho. The game is far from dead. They need to keep updating the game and they do. Of course they're not gonna have numbers like they did in the first few months. Everyone was playing it, but you're not gonna keep everyone playing it two years later. Now they're giving people what they want. They're listening to the public. It's not too late for the game at all because they're still running one of the biggest apps out there. It's not fair to assume that because you don't play it that no one else does. I for one think they have been doing fantastic with the latest updates. They're seeing more people join now then leave. Pokemon GO is far from dead.

That's not entirely true, they released about three updates in the last eight weeks before my university's semester ended. That's pretty frequent. If you're meaning major updates, that's fair.
But, you shouldn't be expecting them to create research level updates every two or so months for a game they need to ensure the stability of.
No amount of updates could ever save that shit.
I'm going to be honest I still play the game and while yes it has issues it's definitely improved.
For example:
You can catch legendaries without having to go to raids, helping those players in rural towns to get them all.
Yeah the rare only catchable Pokemon in certain places suck. But hopefully trading does get implemented I think Niantic just got overwhelmed way too much.
Especially when players complained about EVERYTHING. Especially the tracking system which Niantic tried to fix but sadly made it worse.
I dunno why they don't just let players use a tracking system that actually works, it's not like they are losing money.
But I only play so I have something fun to do while walking plus I don't spend any actual money on it besides the data which isn't that bad.

1 No direct battles vs friends.
What is the point of catching pokemon for battles if you can't battle!
2 The battle system.

3 Evolving with candies.
Nobody has time to catch 100 of the same pokemon. And turning pokemon into candy is kidfriendly? SMH

Antivoid you don’t have to catch 100 of the same in most cases. Pokemon give 3 candy upon catch, 4 if you transfer it. If you use a pinap berry to catch it you earn 6 candy, 7 if you transfer it.

For me PoGo was fun at first, but after a while it just felt like a novelty that became incredibly stale and repetitive after a while. That, and not only was it incredibly bare-bones, glitchy and way too grindy, but Niantic drip-feeded content soooooo~ slowly, when FE Heroes has new stuff added to it every other week. Which’s what kept me playing it. Even if it SUCCs my phone’s storage space dry.
I stopped playing shortly after raid battles were introduced, so who knows?🤷🏽♀️Maybe the new additions since then have made the game at least a bit better.

One thing that bugs me is not everyone can get ahold of a legendary. Raid battles require a person to have a big network of friends.
Those who lack that and the ability to make them just won’t ever get a legendary.
Also, the time you’ve got for legendary raid battles before the legendaries switch countries or disappear is waaaaaaaay too short. A lot of people might not have time to play.
Legendaries are cheap and makes you look like a noob. Which is probably the case for many, actually. Point is, Go is fucking horseshit.

Your goal is to get your entire city gold in gym badges. Yes, you CAN get gym badges. I know people who have entire cities (over 150 gyms) gold! And guess what, they're Instinct as well :P

I stopped playing cause I live out in the country and couldn't find pokemon at all. I hate the fact that you have to live in a big city to have any kind of fun with this game.
Luna Deafenhine "GPS signal lost" "internet connection lost" - that is so far the only fun I had living in a city. There might be lots of Pokemon and Pokestops and Gyms but I can be glad if my GPS and internet stays for at least one whole ninute for that app. And that is literally the only app where I have that problem and it only happens when I'm in a city, never on the countryside.

You know that there's a special raid for mewtwo, tasks to do daily, capturing mew THROUGH TASKS, communication days where they give shiny along with candies, events that change the location of some regional pokemon(farfetch'd was in europe for 1 day), nests that make pokemon spawn then disappear(because they're here only for a time period) and lastly, RAIDS. You might not be battling 1v1 but raids certainly are harder than what pvp would be. There are many features people haven't thought about that were in the game. It's a brand new page now. Plus you can go to "battery saver" if you don't have battery.

Alright so I play this a lot, we have a pretty active community for this game where I live, so I’m just going to not a few additional mistakes for the sake of clearifaction.
43 - you do get gym badges. The are awarded to you for visiting a new gym and get progressively upgraded as you rank them up earning you more bonuses.
30 - steps are counted accurately, there is just a speed limit that makes sure you don’t cheat by driving around with the game on.
20 - no one died as a result of Pokémon Go. The game shouldn’t be blamed for people not following the law while driving or not being safe in dangerous areas. Any other deaths related to Pokémon Go were coincidental such as a heart attack or a random shooter showing up.
7 - you made a minor note that flashes for a sec, but I will again mention you can always have your team changed if you email Niantic. And you can always fight together in raids regardless of Team.
All other points reasonably solid. I will defend them on delaying trading though, although hacking and spoofing have been cracked down on super hard recently they want to ensure Pokémon obtained illegally won’t be traded around.
The game definitely isn’t perfect, but it’s getting there.
They're not Gym badges. You do not get them from beating Leaders like Tate & Liza or Flannery.

I was late to try out Pokemon GO, but I got bored almost immediately. Part of it was because my phone didn't have a gyroscope so I couldn't see the Pokemon as if they were really in my neighborhood, which was what I was most interested in. Also, I was disappointed when I realized I couldn't take my Squirtle and battle wild Pokemon with it, which I assumed would be part of the game.
I stopped playing almost as soon as I started because it just didn't impress me.

A big minus is also how you they changed the gym rewards system. Now you can only get a max of 50 coins for each Pokémon in a gym (1 coin/10 min). That part I don’t mind that much, however, the only way to claim your coins is if you’re Pokémon gets defeated. So after you’re Pokémon has 50 coins ready and waiting, you’re in an awkward situation where you HOPE you lose the gym. There should be a call or claim option

have you even played the game since last summer when the gym update went live? also, some of the graveyard pokestops are because of ingress, from there all the stops and gyms come from, and travelers there are sometimes putting graves as a point of interest

the problems I have come across during my time playing pokemon go:
-Advanced sync started fucking with me the moment I had reached 50 km for the second time, at first when I would ride my
bike I would at leased get half of the km I made on a day, I would usually turn on the game when I left work and would ride home, the distance is a solid 8 km, first it would either count all 8 km or at least 4, now it only counts 1,5 km. bullshit!
-the eevee name trick doesn't work anymore,
for one of the ripple in time researches you need to evolve an eevee to umbreon at night, it's night time right now in the netherlands, I gave eevee the nickname Tamao, started the evolution....and got a goddamn jolteon. (also just read that one of the final ripple in time tasks is throwing a excellent curveball...I would probably break my phone first before I ever make that happen)

That moment when you are standing still waiting at a bus stop for ten minutes and the game suddenly tells you that you are moving too fast.
What I don't understand is how the hell this game has so massive problems finding GPS signals or internet connection in the middle of a city. Other apps use those as well and they never failed me - with Pokemon Go I can be lucky if I don't lose those connections for one whole minute.

As much as I love this game and still play it every day, you pretty much pointed out everything that annoys me about it. Not being able to change teams, region exclusive Pokemon, the egg walking thing only counting your steps accurately if you walk in a straight line. I also wish there was a way to make it easier to get Pokemon that you don't have in your Dex, like a Pokemon wish list of sorts.

I have a problem with this video. Most of your points to why Pokemon Go isn't as good as it used to be isn't the games fault. It's all because of the players fault. So don't go complaining about things in the game that Niantic can't do anything about.
If they had MUCH better community communication, fixed some of the major problems from when it was first released but most importantly, if they fixed rural gameplay the game would probably still be immensely popular.
To be fair, I kinda understand why people Spoof, because if you live in the middle of nowhere, you can't spawn anything but Pidgey, whereas your friend in the big city will spawn hundreds of rare Pokemon you'll never see at all.

I hate how difficult it can be to get items if you aren't buying them. We're already spending hours at a time walking around to play the game not to mention most likely shredding through cellular data.

I play it with my kids just to get out of the house and stroll around the block everyday. We beat the gym, and when we come back the next day, the same team that we defeated yesterday is back and have defeated the pokemon we left there; so there must be a loyal fanbase. However, everyone I meet in town that still plays are old people, grandpas with gray hair and everything. Kinda weird.
They should make special trainers at gyms once battling is integrated. They can be like raid bosses but instead known as Gym bosses. You battle them and gain stuff like special items and Stardust.

Actually back when I was still in 4th grade Team instinct was VERY popular
I never played this game because when it launched I was busy and by the time it had winded down I didn’t find a reason to. I really don’t like apps that much, and besides, people that I knew that said they hated Pokémon downloaded this game just because it was popular, only to delete it later because it wasn’t cool anymore. I didn’t have a reason to hop on the bandwagon back in 2016.

My, and I'm sure many others', end game goal is to find a perfect IV of every pokémon, a living shiny dex (obviously, we'll need more storage as the game gets bigger), max out all my favourite teams (which will require a lot of stardust!)... there's a lot to do, I feel. Always something to grind towards. I'm currently (still) looking for a perfect IV Pidgey... You'd think with it being so common I'd see at least one by now, but no. I have three perfect IV aggron, three perfect Alakazam, and no Pidgey
I stopped playing this game ages ago because I live in a small town where I have to walk halfway across town just to get to the nearest Pokestop or gym. The most exciting Pokemon that shows up is usually a Raticate.
The only place nearby where I can get anything decent or get any Pokeballs is in a theme park miles away from town.
Meanwhile anyone who lives in a big city already has a level 1,000 Nidoqueen.
Go is shit. And I could sweep those idiots with things like Sigilyph.
