I got a phone call- from a mobile number as I guess they’re working remotely due to covid lockdown. Had to pay by a link sent from email and arranged pick up for a few days time. Sounds a bit dodgy as I type that! 😂 hope I haven’t been scammed 😩😩
@William Pipe no it was all above board- even got a leather Tudor valet tray as a gift. The weirdest thing was they would only let me collect from the Harrods loading bay, but you need a car to enter… which I don’t have as I live in central London… so I had to hail a black taxi from outside Harrods, drive in and down a ramp and then ask him to wait 10mins while they got me the watch 😄 luckily the taxi driver wouldn’t charge me the waiting time and said he felt guilty taking £15 when he had only driven 5yds!! So I end up giving him a tenner I think I imagine Harrods have a better system now- this was when shops first opened during the first lockdown and it was all a bit new.
