It was one of HBO's first documentaries. I only know this because I am reading the history of HBO now. This is really gross to add to a creed.

I will admit that I am a christian, specifically a Catholic. I would be fine if the church allowed those who were divorced to receive communion because there are legitimate reasons for divorce but the problem is from a christian perspective that secular no-fault divorce is not sufficient reason for the church to accept renouncing your vows before god. We gell out of love. We're no longer compatible. We want different things. We are different people. Its all self indulgant bullshit. Is this the ECLA Wisconsin Synod? I ask because my church is LCMS. And I do fear that this ideology could seep into the Missouri Synod. But I mean what can we do except stand against it? I would be fine if the church allowed those who were divorced to receive communion because there are legitimate reasons for divorce but the problem is from a christian perspective that secular no-fault divorce is not sufficient reason for the church to accept renouncing your vows before god. We gell out of love. We're no longer compatible. We want different things. We are different people. Its all self indulgant bullshit. People fall in and out of love all the time in a lifelong relationship but the lifelong vow means that your commitment to each other makes you grow closer after working thru whatever is pulling you apart. Thats why the contemporary interpretation of marriage is bullshit. Secular law (ie meaning the govt) should be responsible for licensing. If the govt says you can marry 2 dogs fine. If the govt says you can marry 2 people of the same sex. fine. If the govt says 2 divorced people can marry. fine. That is the law of the state and the state has the right to license a civil union and its laws should govern a civil union. However, a marriage is a religious union and a religious license to marry is strictly within the confines of that religion. THEY NEED TO BE SEPARATED...ESPECIALLY AFTER THE ABOVE BULLSHIT WITH A FEMALE PRIEST AND A NONBINARY GOD.

Is this the ECLA Wisconsin Synod? I ask because my church is LCMS. And I do fear that this ideology could seep into the Missouri Synod. But I mean what can we do except stand against it? The Bible speaks of the " Great Falling Away" Where believers no longer adhere to sound doctrine. I don't want to be that person that is decieved. It also says that " Hearts will grow cold on account of the increase in lawlessness " So I'm rightfully getting a litttttttle paranoid. But paranoia isn't a healthy emotion. And i don't want to have a heart that grows cold and resentful. How does everyone else deal with this? It really makes me angry TBH cuz they are just splitting in the face of God. I'm not a good Christian by any measure. I'm a a hypocrite and chief of sinners in desperate need of Christ my Savior. But this is complete blasphemy and apostasy. If the left can protest and gather non peacefully. Why can't we protest this peacefully ?
And if we were to do it successfully we would need to separate our divisions and differences and denominations. And make a coalition of Christians that agree on the basic core tenets and principles of Christianity. We can't put up a successful resistance if we re divided into our separate camps and factions.
