It is highly variable. Running tests does decrease the amount of solution in the pack, but the machine also uses the solution when sitting idle. We probably do 300-400 samples per year and we have had to replace the 800ml packs 2-3 times per year. The company can give you a more definite answer though.
Nice explanation ..thanks However, we can not calibrate ours.. the device software we r working on ,has 2 problems: 1-it dosn't allow the sucktion pin out whenever selecting =) quality control (whuch includes the hi -low-normal modes) calibration ..and thus all the values shows 0.. 2- at the main menu when pressing=) calibrate now :it also doesnt push out the sucktion pin ..it just make make some kind of inside calibration or cleaning ..
1: you will have to contact the company on this. 2: the calibration does not require external samples. It uses fluids from the pack. So it sounds like it is doing this properly.

I believe it must be kept in and maintained even when not using it for extended periods.

It's hard to say. These machines can be finicky. Your best bet is to consult the troubleshooting section of the manual or contact the company. Sorry.
easylyte plus : result Na =135 , CL= 102 , but k = *** ? please how to fix this issue?
Perhaps a bad potassium electrode. Contact the company for help.

It sounds like you are having electrode issues. You'll need to use your manual or call the company to fix it.
