Laira continuing to think La Destructora is an actual threat kinda reminds me of the story of Tandem the Spoony becoming "The Greatest Swordsman in the World"
Did not expect Wurd to be my favourite character, havung never watched Runesmith but he is just such a fun character, I love him so much!
I highly recommend you watch Arcane Arcade play sessions with him in it, especially his Stibbles character

I have a planned character very similar to Laira, so I'm making mad mental notes every time she's in a social encounter.
This part bounces off of each other so well. They're all so clever. The characters feel like real people which is often not the case imo

36:32 Small correction: Absorb Elements gives you "resistance to the triggering damage type until the start of your next turn" (so you take half damage), and "the first time you hit with a melee attack on your next turn, the target takes an extra 1d6 damage of the triggering type" (that's what that roll was).

My theory is that La Destructura is either one of the last dragons that the party is going to meet and need to get a heart from, since the first dragon seemed to know who they were, or they are a powerful bard lich who simply likes to insert themselves into the story of the pilgrims for fun and to chronicle their story.
hearing the part about feathers between Laira and Fritz felt like they were having a weird lover's spat for a bit there
I don't see many comments talking about the eldritch horrors which are drawn on the map emerging form the sea

I know you like to switch how the player in your party every campaign but I'd love to see this group again. As much as I enjoyed Necro hunt I find personally find these players and their characters way more likeable and wholesome and I love watching this campaign
I think Nathaniel hard carries and their individual stories were more interesting, but this campaign has more linked characters
It was the coolest thing to meet you man. The PowerPoint was short but the vibes were amazing. Thanks for being there it made A-kon worth it man.

Mr. JoCat, obviously this is your own campaign and Ms. Fritz is a new player deserving of encouragement who is doing an excellent job! She is deserving of all inspiration counters you have granted her by her own accomplishments of roleplaying her character to perfection. To the point where she received stacked inspiration. There have been times where Mr. Wurd (Boss) has roleplayed within his own character traits to help the 'little man' that did not benefit his own self interest which shows great character growth which I personally feels deserving of inspiration as well, along with the others of your campaign. Again this is your campaign and I enjoy your narration, but I would find even more enjoyment seeing other players being rewarded for their character growth with inspiration. Too many of my personal DM's ignore the inspiration aspect of the game and I feel having someone as watched as you giving out this boon deservedly would help inspire the community to use it more.

pretty sure if he's refering to a jersey cow pattern, (black and white blotches like a less spotty dalmation) they are called a paint. though I have seen apaloosa's with slightly similar patterns but more of a dirty spotted coloration on the rump..
Paints are one of my all time favorite horse breeds tough. fell in love with them from growing up watching Bonanza as a kid. (Little Joe's horse was a paint)
Jersey cow pattern is a pinto horse.

I love the building of the Wurd empire. Its somehow extremely satisfying.
I'm so invested in these characters!! I love all the backstory we've seen so far, I love the diversity in everyone's tales, I LOVE BUTTERSCOTCH AND EFFICIENCY (I hope some Lesser/Greater Restoration or other applicable healing can mend Butterscotch's leg maybe!) and seeing La Destructura and El Coco again was hilarious and cute.

Note that flying's pretty stronk. Even if we go with the Pythagorean theorem, the loss of range would be much less there Jo :P

80ft vertically and 35ft horizontally from a target (as Fritz is at 13:40) makes up a hypothenuse of about 87.32ft. Which, even if rounding up, would be losing 2 squares (10ft) of range. Ends up giving disadvantage to shortbow (80/320ft), but not longbow (150/600ft).
Also the fact that the ground is lower compared to the archer should *increase* the effective range of the weapon (the arrow can go further before hitting the ground).

I like that Jocat made alterations and improvements to the beginning blot battle with the time he got from ending it right before the fight began. Pretty cool

I feel compelled to comment: The reason owls can swivel their heads the way they do is specifically because their eyes are fixed in the skull (they're a weird shape) and thus cannot move at all. So owls cannot roll their eyes. Unfortunately.

I have to say that as a horse person, hearing them try to describe Efficiency was pain... they were clearly aiming for a Gypsy Vanner, maybe someday by some miracle I can provide some horse knowledge to these lovely people.
