I pick my 2019 Outlander 2.0 petrol Exceed up in 3 weeks I’m in love with it I can’t wait some of these reviews show you’ll never please everyone this is a great car
So very detailed review. Well organized report. Especially the summary in the end. THE best I’ve seen. I’m convinced! Mitsubishi offers 10-year or 100,000-mile warranty in the U.S. that no other auto maker can beat!
I have the petrol level 4 car 2018. It’s ok, but the rare two issues (well, major issues) first us the inability by Mitsubishi to allow optional extras so, whichever spec you get, that’s it. That doesn’t help us buyers who are allowed a certain spec, but can add extras at our own costs. The second issue, and this us the one which will stop me buying another one is the truly awful CVT gearbox, the acceleration isn’t pathetic compared to other standard auto gearbox and it’s terrible, put your foot to the floor, the engine screams and there is very little acceleration, terrible if you want to overtake.
I'm confused by this review because that car is the PHEV model, the gear shifter is definitely PHEV but the review is supposed to be comparing the Petrol version?
Sorry to hear that you found this review confusing. When we review a vehicle, we cover all the different trims and versions available to help viewers find the model that suits them perfectly.
@@rivervalegroup maybe so but the post specifically says this is the petrol model and supposed to be comparing it with the PHEV - instead this is just the PHEV review. Reading other comments I see you acknowledge the video is the wrong one. Shame because I was actually interested in the petrol review.

Very nice review. I'm looking for a new family ride, and hopping around the dealers I found myself thinking to this car, the less... fresh, the less hype, easy, concrete, down to earth. I felt something very japanese, something absolutely not liked in italy, similar to other brands like, dunno, suzuki. Though, smart, not fancy but solid. The only thing is the fuel consumption, 37.7 miles per gallon, should be something more than 16km per liter. Is that true? It's incredibly low for a car as big as this, with a petrol 2.0 liter, a cvt shifter and a 4×4 transmission. I was thinking to an lpg conversion, or a cng that here is very common, but with such an efficient engine...

Mitsubishi FMC does not give warning when the front car is moving in slow and your car is approaching in high speed.Mitsubishi has to update its software to adopt a relative velocity and distance fine tune for FMC warning. I am disappointed when compare to other company such feature. I am a Outlander PHEV GT 2018 owner.
2019 entry level no sat nav or parking sensors. Might look elsewhere, seems petty but will be used to ferry kids and supermarket car parks and should be standard these days.
OSV looking now for next years motorbility car. Currently have Kia Sportage and love it but need a bit bigger. Hopefully Mitsubishi listen to customers for 2020
Forward Collision Warning system does not warn based on relative seepd, it only gives if the front car is stand still. in real world we need for a slow moving front car while you are approaching in high speed. a little Garmin GPS "Garmin 010-N1682-02 Drive Assist 51 NA LMT-S" does a better job. I finally bought this GPS for warning. My old Subaru FMC was far far better.
Hello all, Please watch this video before purchasing this car. This car has a major problem with its battery which degrades constantly. and Mitsubishi has no solution for it. Please Be aware of the situation, @
exactly and it renders the battery almost useless as it degrades at a fast rate because there is no cooling solution for the battery. That is why this phev is so cheap today and even cheaper than the petrol model now
The coin slot is a slot you put your key in if key's battery gets flat

The feeling that you get is that your in proper suv...is the line that says it all, other car reviewers think suvs should drive like sport cars.
what happend to the petrol review
Hi Mick, we had issues with the sound on the Petrol review. It has been re-uploaded here ua-cam.com/video/fXBShrHAWys/v-deo.html

37,7 mpg is 6.2 liters per 100km. I seriously doubt that this 2.0 Petrol uses only 6.2L.

Never mind, you can trade it in for a tenth of what you paid and get a real car!!
I’ve got a factory Sat Nav in mine too don’t ask how I’ve managed it but I don’t care 😍😝
Dean Turnbull it seems they gave re introduced it, so only us 2018 buyers list out

It's quite dated now.
Petrol?, Only show and drive the PHEV!. No 2.0 cleartec video this is.
Thanks for your feedback - are you interested in getting an Outlander?
@@rivervalegroup Yes, i drive the Outlander.
To plastic dull looking interface cheap looking interior. Stick with the RR Valor.
The ""plastic" interior, is rugged and and intentional, so muddy feet/boots, dog poo, can be hosed off!! And it's too, not "to"!
