You can fold flat the second row. It is not as straightforward as other cars. You push out the lower cushion seat (it has a hinge for this) and then fold down the back of the seat
I recently purchased an outlander GT and I'm very happy with it. for the money I pay around $29000 I got adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning forward collision mitigation navigation ( although no the best system I had) and a in general good looking car. Granted the style is not edgy but the driving is very comfortable and smooth. As per the lack of power is very relative, the car weight 3500 lb compared to to other vehicles like the Jeep grand Cherokee or Nissan rouge which are much heavier so the pounds per horsepower ration is similar to many vehicles in its class. As for speed, I have a 5.0 mustang that takes care of my needs. it is really stupid to think that a 7 passenger car will be faster, this class is about safety and comfort and for the money there is no really another car that compete with it.
A couple thoughts. First this has to be the most underrated channel dealing with car reviews I have seen. I have enjoyed all the reviews. They are pretty thorough and complete. Now for this video on snow I think you should really do some tire comparisons or something. These tires are NOT for snow use. Please try this sort of thing twice once with good snow tires and once with stock tires.
Everyman Driver That is a serious bummer. Perhaps for your personal vehicle you can do a comparison some day. In fact if you are in spokane and happen to venture down to the Portland/Vancouver area and want to borrow some tires for testing purposes, I might be able to set you up as long as they are 15 or 16 inch wheels. Just give me a shout come winter.
It is amazing what it does in this video with these crap tires. Here in Austria winter tires are mandatory (no ALL SEASON crap!), I am very happy with my 2016 model.
I first want to say great video. It's nice to see an accurate detailed review of Mitsubishi's S-AWC. I've tried watching SUV/Crossover reviews and time after time the review is bias or the Outlander is never included, despite it's excellent reputation among those who own them. I own at 2010 Outlander GT. I've never had an issue in similar driving conditions (Calgary Alberta) and only been to the shop once to repair the gas release.
5:45-6:40 8:07-8:49 Has sold me on this vehicle. I'm scouring to a buy new 2014 (2015 if I can catch a deal). All the other reviews I've read about this vehicle talk and treat it like a sports car, except yours. It's like a hidden agenda against the company.... What I really liked about this review is that you didn't sit there and complain about the Cvt (We get it not many like the Cvt) or compare it to other vehicles for the duration of video. Please keep that trend, unless the vehicles you mention are tested in the same video of course. And most importantly this was done without real snow tires.
Hey Everyman Driver! I am a salesman for 112 Mitsubishi a dealer on Long Island New York! Just wanted to let you know that the second row in the Outlander Line DOES indeed fold flat! You must lift the lower part of the seat in the second row toward the front of cabin and it reveals a switch which allows you to fold the upper seat flat!!
The paddle shifters are great for downshifting to slow down, to keep it in a certain ratio for more torque, or if you wanna accelerate quickly. I use the on my rvr all the time. Really love em.
Compared to other cars review programs, this is the most intense and challenging off road test I have ever seen. Thanks for putting the vehicle to almost its limits. Also to Mitsubishi for their confidence in allowing their cars to subjected to quite extreme conditions.
Hi Dave, Cool video but I just need to add one thing. The middle seats actually do fold flat in this vehicle. They don't just slide forward as you showed in your video. Pull the front part of the seat upward and you will figure out the rest. Its actually super easy and a great design. You will have to remove the headrests but this has been improved even more ion the 2016 model and you don't need to remove the headrests.
This Mitsubishi did about as well as the 4 Runner you tested...it certainly got out of the ice pond alot quicker. If it had real off road tires it would be unstoppable. Plus Mitsubishi has a much longer warranty 5year60k bumper to bumper. 10 yr 100k engine and transmission warranty.
Love ur reveiws.Even though we get hardly any snow here in Texas I always enjoy ur snow videos.Especially the outlander since I've been a proud outlander buyer for the past few years.
Osiris Salgado well then, you're gonna love my Off-Road video in the 2015 Outlander Sport SE AWC. Just wrapped up shooting and editing that video this weekend.
Everyman Driver Car Reviews just trade my 2011 Outlander V6 for the 2015 SE V6 Touring package two weeks ago! My partner at my job just bought the 2015 Outlander sport SE AWC (RVR here in Canada). Can't wait to see that!
Eric Dicaire I would have to disagree also I haven't driven this vehicle, I own a 2015 jeep grand cherokee overland diesel iam pretty sure it has more power, more options, looks better and is obviously better offroad, tow more and ride better. Air suspension with ride hight and Quadra drive with a locking differential I highly doubt it's better and I can list off a bunch of more features
Ken Ahenakew Sure, im agree to all of what you say, but you have to compare apple to apple here. Your Jeep is one of a hell true 4x4 machine, and on another level if your compare it to an Outlander. The full equiped Grand Cherokee is more comparable to the Volkswagen Touareg or even a Mercedes class SUV. Its value is at least 20K more than a Outlander GT. But at my opinion, the Outlander is a great ''bang for the buck''. Its a very reliable machine with a good warranty. Great buy by the way, congrats for your Jeep! I wish i had the money to put the GC diesel on the top of my list, but with twins on the way, i had to downsize the budget a bit for 2015. I had a very good rebate on another new Outlander, more equiped for less money/month. The choice was obvious. ;-)
Hi Love how you take risks. The best thing about S-AWC is how it has torque vectoring and active yaw control, you have to do some drifting to check it out! By the way, how is it possible that you couldn't open the owner's manual to figure out how to fold down the 2nd row of seats? The seat bottoms move forward, remove the headrests and the seat backs go flat with a well hidden button. I do have the 2014 and will be going through my first Winter, thanks for your review in the snow!
first 33 seconds and this has already been more enlightening than most "offroad" videos on youtube. hate videos that are all about rock climbing. i don't drive on rocks. only sand and mud. i want to know how capable of climbing a low-grip incline or wading through deep mud.
I subscribed when I saw your Toyota 4Runner review when you got stuck but got out. And since then I've loved all of your videos! truly amazing I must say!
Great review Dave! Despite the ugly look, the Outlander is really a good SUV. Can't wait for the new look for the 2016 model on the autumn 2015. For the record, i have a 2011 Outlander V6 with the standard AWC, and with proper winter tires nothing can't stop you (just remember you don't have any skid plates under). At my opinion people must choose the V6 because the 4 cylinders don't fell very powerful for a vehicule of this size. The V6 drink almost the same amount of fuel on highway, and at my experience this motor is more flexible and fun to drive everyday. Im having 75 000km on mine ( around 47K miles) and no problem with it whatsoever. Despite the poor quality of the paint and some cheap plastic, the Outlander is a very reliable machine...maybe im gonna trade mine when the 2016 is gonna coming out.
I highly recommend the PHEV, It's jawdroppingly economical, and quite powerful as well, and since it ran through the rally competition pretty much in stock, it's outstanding off-roader as well
For those who want to see the new 2016 facelift. Its a concept for the ''new'' PHEV but my guess its gonna be what the Outlander is gonna look like: www.autoblog.com/2014/10/03/mitsubishi-outlander-phev-concept-s-video-paris-2014/
Juste trade my 2011 for a new 2015 SE Touring package two week ago! If i compare from my 2011, it is a better truck overall. More quiet a bit on the road and more modern everywhere. Better handling and a nicer fit and finish with soft plastic everywhere....i just like it! The 2015 have a new front facia and it have a better look by far! My 2011 had a strong resale value, and i had no problem with it in 80 000km, so this is why i choose to go for a 2015 ;-) The Outlander combine the Japanese quality with better pricing than Toyota or Honda.
Great job, as always, Dave! Not terribly long ago I was bumping around the streets in my Wrangler when I got passed by a random SUV that made me think "Well that's a great size for my wife. And it looks good, what is that thing?" I was quite surprised when I caught back up to it to find it was a Mitsubishi. Sadly, my first thought was "they're still in business?" Fast forward to today, I'm skimming through my subscribe list and there's that Mitsubishi again! This time it's going up a snowy v-notch that I'd be concerned taking my wrangler up with what Falken calls "all terrain" tires. I had to click play to see if you tried the pond again. My one thought on the third row in the Outlander is that I think it's the right size and I hope Mitsubishi doesn't make it any larger. My reasoning is jump seats are great to use from time to time. For example; My wife drives a Jeep Commander, and it has a third row of jump seats. That works great for us. We're a small young family, the extra seats are great when the in laws are wanting me to drive to dinner, but they're not so comfy that they say we should go on a road trip together. When the in-laws are not around, I still get to have a reasonably sized SUV. The outlander would be on my very short list of possible replacements due to this "appropriately sized" third row.
***** Mitsubishi has made a come back in the USA. The Outlander sells well but the Outlander Sport is their #1 selling vehicle. I hope they continue to do well because my family is a Mitsubishi family.
Ken Ahenakew Jeep's of all models are not reliable. Every person I know that owned one - past tense had mechanical issues quite often and finally unloaded them. I will take the Outlander any day.
Great review I've ever watched about the Outlander. Snow driving performance is quite impressive. Thank you so much! Finally I ordered new Outlander PHEV.
I have a 2014 outlander with seven seats. My back seats are completely foldable. There is a second switch underneath the seats that makes them go all the way down when you pull the first switch that you use to roll the seats back and forward. You must have missed it...:)
Over here in the European based countries the highest powered engine you can get in the 2016 model is a 2.4L engine very quick but problems can't pull its weight off road
dudemeister001 I would love for Mitsubishi to hear you say that... or any of the manufacturers who have denied me loans. I think they may be underestimating the enthusiasm of my subscribers for more variety and more videos :-) We'll get there... I just need to keep working hard to prove my worth - Dave
Dave, The second row seats ARE folding flat. Since in your former Outlander review you also complained about the lack of this feature, here is how to do it. First, you should fold the lower seating surfaces forward and then the upper portion. In case you are planning to review the Buick Encore in the near future just remember this trick as the back seats of that car are also folding the same way. Nice review but without proper snow tires it is irrelevant. Imagine, if the runners during the 100 m dash in an Olympic game would wear boots instead of running shoes. Would you be able to judge how fast they can run? I am sure the dealerships should be able to mount proper snow tires, especially where you are in the PNW.
Everyman Driver Yes Dave, you make the same mistake in this 2nd review of the Outlander. In fact, the second row of seat can fold flat, you should need to remove the 2 headrest. But I really like your videos anyway.
Gustavo José Pérez López You don't even have to remove the headrests. I always fold the second row seats down with the headrest in place, and there is no problem there. And this way I can easely sleep in my car fully stretched, and i'm 1.76m in length . I love the space the car offers (y) ;-)
Here in Australia I have the top of the line: Aspire trim from 2014 which carries the 2.4L I4 from the rest of the range, sadly no V6 GT for our market.
i own the 2014 outlander se sawc and the seats do fold down flat, u should do a review of towing im looking to upgrade but dont know it its worth it for the v6 in towing
@@klaythompson2488 I don't have the Outlander, but I Had a Montero/Pajero and now I have a Eclipse Spider convertible, really realiable cars. Mitsubishi is a great brand.
@@rogerbarrero thanks so much🎉👍 I always thinking Mitsubish is trash like a Holden here in Australia. But it was change since I searching Outlander averybody says Its good So curious
Hey Everyman Driver, how can you compare Mitsubishi's S-AWC vs Subaru's Symmetrical AWD System? Can you please make a comparison between the two? Thanks!
To be honest the whole video was well done and informative..What I like the most was when you took it off road in the snow and how well it did, I have to admit I thought you would get stuck but its nothing that you cant handle.
Love the "off road" reviews Dave. I noticed even when in "lock" that one of the rear wheels had no power going to it. Obviously, the traction control system isn't as advanced as say a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.
Lock is just for the power split. It does not have a true locking differential, like you would find in some jeeps or land rovers. However for stability, the S-AWC system is phenomenal. Just rolling over 160,000km in mine and I'm consistently impressed with highway stability in blizzard and deep snow conditions. Awesome vehicle for stability in the snow and keeping you safe, but if you want to do real off-roading, get a Jeep.
Driving SUV cars with factory all season tires on off-road is more like entertaining show, rather than review of off-road capabilities of certain SUV. Though, thank you for that, as we can see that S-AWC does good job by indeed shuffling torque between wheels, so it is not marketing gimmick.
Love this car. I've just bought one. On March will be mine. :) Nice review. One question: which kind of tires did you use on this test? I guess M+S tires.
thank you everyday driver for these videos. it really helped me narrrow down from the hyundai santa fe awd to this one. (i'm gonna get the outlander awd).
Love the video. I was hoping you would talk more about the Traction Control system. I am trying to understand when I should have Traction Control on and in what situations I would turn it off for my Outlander. Getting ready for the Ski Season and excited about the potential but not seeing alot on this subject.
I think you are thinking about stability control. Very different. Traction control is a good thing. If one of your wheels spins, it applies brakes to that wheel causing the opposite wheel to turn. Thus putting power to the wheels with the best traction. Stability control uses brakes and throttle control to keep the vehicle in a straight line. In some off road situations, this works against you. For example, if you are driving through deep snow or mud, sometimes the vehicle will turn to the side. If the stability control is on, it will sense that and apply brakes to certain wheels and reduce throttle to straighten out the vehicle. So you're on the gas trying to gain and maintain forward momentum to get through a tough spot, meanwhile the car is applying brakes and reducing throttle to straighten the vehicle out, thus making the tough spot more difficult. It's best to have the stability control off when you're off road. It's not really needed in those situations, and sometimes it works against you..
One of the few small suv's left with a v6 and an awd lock mode. I might look into getting this, and I will put better tires on. Most tires on stock vehicles are garbage anyway. What is the towing capacity on the v6?
I dont think he needed to put the AWC/AWD system in lock. As long as you have some speed and KEEP A STEADY THROTTLE you should be fine in snow mode. All the lock mode does is keep the system from reverting back to 2WD. It does not lock a separate differential from the center one. That being said, congrats to Mitsubishi, there AWC system is very very good. I would say comparable to Subaru. The main difference being that Subaru is more mechanical and Mitsubishi is more electronic. Very good systems either way.
Dave Great review my heart was pounding just watching you thanks for the fun. This vehicle will be PHEV Plug in Hybrid much like the Volt in 2015 with 2 electric motors and better traction controls, heavier. It would be interesting to see the differences.
Maybe check out the manual before doing reviews, the second row seats do fold down completely flat!! Almost a full 72" to the back of the front seats! With all seats folded.
Very Impressive... We're having another one on the way and I really like this one . Being one of the I would say carexpertgUru would you recommend this SUV ? What bothers me most are all the reviews now I am I having second thought. Would you be able to give a good reason why should I buy this? Thanks for your help....
+Ryan Belden I test drove the Fiat Freemont, which was the European version of the Dodge. They are not selling them in Austria anymore (2016). It is a big and roomy car, but the engine was loud and felt underpowered. Also the interior looked like cheap plastic. My alternative for the Outlander would be the Subaru Outback but there are very few Subaru dealers in Austria.
So, Outlander instyle+ package 150hk awd automatic diesel or Mazda CX 5 optimum package175hk awd automatic diesel. Im from norway and its the best options for both cars, and they cost around the same. Which one is better?
Maybe you should make a compilation of this car with its direct competitors to see which one handles this 'test track' better. If you are doing a lot of off-roading with 4-6 people would you recommend this car to a friend?
Ignacio Ramirez You should watch his other videos. He test drives one after another and I'm sure the ones you are intersted in are one of them or soon will be.
Hi Dave. It was really nice review! I m thinking to buy the 2015 outlander for SE with AWD but not quite sure with it. Would you recommand it?@EverymanDriver @IMDaveErickson
I'd like to see it stop on the hill and then go. What do you do when there's a stop sign, or a tree in the way. Also it looked liked it couldn't stop at all going down hill, seems like a good way to run into someone or something.
Mitsubishi is so far behind in horsepower, thats horsepower ratings for most 4 CYL. now, im glad they have a good transmission and AWD system to put the little horses to the ground. Thats about the only thing that helps it.
Hey guys, I have an outlander 2015 model (3.0 engine) I have 3 options ( 4wd Eco, 4wd auto and 4wd lock), how do I use these? First time I drive this kind of vehicle. Thanks in advance 😀
Hunter Reynolds Each week I run down my upcoming reviews on my podcast: www.everymandriver.com/category/everyman-driver-podcast/ I also share information on HOW to find my upcoming reviews BEFORE they're public - Dave
I took my Silverado off road and it got high centered in 2 feet of standing water. Watching the Outlander almost get stuck in that small pit made me cringe. I would never take anything off road again unless it was a heavily modified Wrangler or Land Rover.
bmwmsport11 You should check out my 4Runner test at this ORV park: 2014 Toyota 4Runner Snowy Icy Off-Road Review on Everyman Driver I think you'll be impressed - Dave
***** Very true. People always go straight for the car itself rather than the actual "gear" or in other words, what actually gives the traction. You could easily have the best AWD or 4X4 system but, it would not make a difference without the proper tires.

Eric Dicaire thanks brotha, it was fun to get out and get snowy!
And still good? Plz answer me😭 looking to buy 2015 outlander now
Great job, as always, Dave!
***** Glad you like the video!
***** Mitsubishi has made a come back in the USA. The Outlander sells well but the Outlander Sport is their #1 selling vehicle. I hope they continue to do well because my family is a Mitsubishi family.
i have the prev. gen outlander. Amazing SUV ! interior does not feel luxury but 4x4 system for winter is may be one of the best!
And still good? Plz answer me😭 looking to buy 2015 outlander now
@@klaythompson2488 Very solid car! Good choice
With just all-season tires, awesome.
This is why I subscribe to Everyman Driver, great review Dave!
Long, Joseph Glad you're a subscriber :-)
The BEST V-6 Awd/4wd SUV MPG Sold in the US. 20/28 none better.
Have u heard of a jeep grand cherokee eco diesel? It's 21 city 28 highway
I should have said gas only. Thanks analytical guy. The Outlander is also 5/8 the price and has double the warranty of that jeep.
But the grand cherokee is 8/5 better in style, power and functiallity
Ken Ahenakew and that's probably a compliment
Ken Ahenakew Jeep's of all models are not reliable. Every person I know that owned one - past tense had mechanical issues quite often and finally unloaded them. I will take the Outlander any day.
Hey Dave,
I've been waiting for your off road review of 2014 Toyota Highlander at your ORV park. Huge thanks for awesome off road reviews.
Great review, fantastic camera angles.
That was enjoyable to watch,Dave. You and that pond...one of these days,Dave. It's like it's your nemesis. Overall, great review of the SUV.
John Barnes I gotta find that GoPro from last year... that would be AWESOME... one day :-)
Everyman Driver It would be more awesome to retrieve it and find out that this camera is still working after a charge! haha
Hi Dave, great review !
It was a very good match : driver's skills and car's awd capabilities !
Great review I've ever watched about the Outlander. Snow driving performance is quite impressive. Thank you so much! Finally I ordered new Outlander PHEV.
Great video! And remarkable driving skills))
i have SE model and 2nd row seats does folds flat, reviewer does know how to fold them?
I Love the Mitsubishi Outlander is an Awesome Suv nice Review
Alejandro Archila Which part of the video was your favorite?
My favorite part of the video was when you almost get stuck haha just kidding I Enjoy the review from the Start to the End! awesome review keep it up!
I have a 2014 outlander with seven seats. My back seats are completely foldable. There is a second switch underneath the seats that makes them go all the way down when you pull the first switch that you use to roll the seats back and forward. You must have missed it...:)
The outlander did good. This guy beat up the new car unlike all the other reviewers of cars.
Dave u kill me with the "oh blank handles" lol
Excelent review, I really like it when you realize it in the snow.
Gustavo José Pérez López This was a lot of fun... can't wait to test drive my next SUV here - Dave
Over here in the European based countries the highest powered engine you can get in the 2016 model is a 2.4L engine very quick but problems can't pull its weight off road
Wow yur test drive is the REAL DEAL!!! Yu are not afraid to truly test the vehicle... super impressive :p
dudemeister001 I would love for Mitsubishi to hear you say that... or any of the manufacturers who have denied me loans.
AWCAWD Guess I need a hands on demo on getting those seats flat. Thank you - Dave
Everyman Driver Yes Dave, you make the same mistake in this 2nd review of the Outlander. In fact, the second row of seat can fold flat, you should need to remove the 2 headrest. But I really like your videos anyway.
Everyman Driver Car Reviews Were you really using summer tires?! LoL that didnt help
Loved it when you attempted the pond. I was like, what the..., not AGAIN!
i own the 2014 outlander se sawc and the seats do fold down flat, u should do a review of towing im looking to upgrade but dont know it its worth it for the v6 in towing
And still good? Plz answer me😭 looking to buy 2015 outlander now
Excellent review on the 2015 mitsubishi outlander
Good Vid. One comment is that the rear seats do fold flat. You just didn't operate them correctly
I'm impressed with the awd - downside the rear seats don't fold flat and It doesn't look that great
I love Mitsubishi, the most realiable engines, if you get a Mitsubishi, you get a car for a whole life.
And still good? Plz answer me😭 looking to buy 2015 outlander now
@@klaythompson2488 I don't have the Outlander, but I Had a Montero/Pajero and now I have a Eclipse Spider convertible, really realiable cars. Mitsubishi is a great brand.
@@rogerbarrero thanks so much🎉👍
I always thinking Mitsubish is trash like a Holden here in Australia.
But it was change since I searching Outlander averybody says Its good
So curious
I took notice of these outlanders lately I think theyre good looking SUV
Hey Everyman Driver, how can you compare Mitsubishi's S-AWC vs Subaru's Symmetrical AWD System? Can you please make a comparison between the two? Thanks!
+Dominic Sobreo Agreed. I would like to see that as well since I'm a subie lover.
Everyman Driver?
Good video. Im impressed with this suv. Its "simple" which is kinda cool.
keri ellerbe Which part of the video stood out the most?
Nice review.
One question: which kind of tires did you use on this test?
I guess M+S tires.
And still good? Plz answer me😭 looking to buy 2015 outlander now
thank you everyday driver for these videos. it really helped me narrrow down from the hyundai santa fe awd to this one. (i'm gonna get the outlander awd).
Sara Yemaya have you gotten the outlander yet? What do you think of it?
i sold it. it doesn't get good mileage.
That's not what I was hoping to hear - you had the GT? and it didn't get the avg 23MGP?
Hi Dave, I'm pretty impressed with how the Outlander handled the snow. Was wondering what tires are on it.
***** All of my vehicles come with all-season-tires.
Hi how is the visibility for the driver on this vs the previous model? And how is the boot capacity vs the previous? It's a little bit lower
I'd have to say the awd control in this crossover suv isn't to bad from what I've seen 😉 so far
One of the few small suv's left with a v6 and an awd lock mode. I might look into getting this, and I will put better tires on. Most tires on stock vehicles are garbage anyway. What is the towing capacity on the v6?
Not bad at all for all season tires.
FYI you can actually fold the rear seats flat.
Great review Dave. I have the diesel Outlander here in the UK. What tyres was it running on?
scottbombedout sorry, I dont' remember... but probably all-season.
You should try getting a Honda Odyssey, and pushing its limits off-road
(Just for fun)
I concur that you can fold the second row of seats and achieve a flat floor.
Keep the off road review coming please!! Great video btw.
handas2 Absolutely!
I am in Florida so I would never buy this vehicle but... This review was pretty awesome. I've been stuck in mud before and its no fun.
neorick27 It's still a good vehicle for FL but there are others that are better overall - Dave
I have the 2016 with real Winter tires and it does very well.
the 2016 you got is it a good deal or dodge journey
Do you buy Go Pros by the case? ;-) Loved the review as always, Dave!
Larry Stoecker I would if they weren't so expensive. I'd like to buy one more :-) Maybe Santa will bring me one for xmas? Dave
Everyman Driver Car Reviews what cameras do You use to film Your review? Im a long time subscriber, love the reviews!
Also it looked liked it couldn't stop at all going down hill, seems like a good way to run into someone or something.
you think a four cylinder would be able to do the same tasks?
Mitsubishi is so far behind in horsepower, thats horsepower ratings for most 4 CYL. now, im glad they have a good transmission and AWD system to put the little horses to the ground. Thats about the only thing that helps it.
so would you recommend the 2016 model for a mostly city and highway roads??
i think if you drive like subaru, crv, rav4 in this condition, if would be fair for mitsubishi to show its strength...
Hey guys, I have an outlander 2015 model (3.0 engine)
I have 3 options ( 4wd Eco, 4wd auto and 4wd lock), how do I use these? First time I drive this kind of vehicle.
Thanks in advance 😀
I live in Oman
how would the awd compare to the subaru outback?
I actually need that dent in the ceiling to fit in the back seats. If it wasn't for that, this car wouldn't have enough headroom for me.
You actually CAN completely fold down the seats, I have one and it's very easy.
Do you get the PHEV version in the US? I'd like to see that in the snow!
Great job Outlander - and driver!
i know you're using all-season tires. it would be interesting to see how the vehicle would do with snows on those hills.
badmintonboy Tons better I assume. Then again, people probably won't be going off-road like I did... most likely :-)
that's true. i'm actually surprised how well it did in the snow without snow tires. good review.
I dont know what price the 4runner is but for 35g Id get a 4runner even if I had to throw in 5g more
haha, that tightened the pucker up. didn't it :)
Dave, can you do an off-road review of the Volvo XC60?
how tall are you man? i am 6'4'' , is it possible for me to be comfortable in drivers seat? :)
What are some review and off-road reviews that are coming up Dave?
Hunter Reynolds Each week I run down my upcoming reviews on my podcast: www.everymandriver.com/category/everyman-driver-podcast/ I also share information on HOW to find my upcoming reviews BEFORE they're public - Dave
Can you do a review on 2015 LEXUS IS 250 please
Vardan Vardanyan I hope so but my cars are random but Lexus is on my rotation list - Dave
Everyman Driver that was a good one and I'm a proud owner of a 4runner now
What it comes down to is "it's all about the tires"....the correct tires and any 4x4 will cut through anything......within reason.
Or a grand cherokee :-D
***** Very true. People always go straight for the car itself rather than the actual "gear" or in other words, what actually gives the traction. You could easily have the best AWD or 4X4 system but, it would not make a difference without the proper tires.
