I absolutely love this song. I don't understand how anyone would have a problem with any part of this song. The music itself, the voices of Mr. Wonder and Mr. McCartney, and most of all, the lyrics which speak of peace and harmony. What a beautiful song!

Ouvi muito nas rádios no final dos anos 80 e início de 90.
It’s such an amazing song 🎶
A timeless classic. They don't write songs like this anymore.
Sadly that's true
Yeah cause they suck

Amazing episode
Someone just showed that to me I didn’t believe it was a parody of a real song🤣
Lol
And I had never actually heard this song before for real! Now I have!
This song was recorded forty years ago and the message in the lyrics is more important today than ever before.
Eric the racism, segregation and discrimination is in the air. Is in everywhere, any country. As species we are too territorial. Someone in your family or in my family is telling us every day every minute to hate every person that has strange colors in the whole world. Isn’t just white and black. I’m a black male but my family was middle class long ago so we were well educated. My family lived among white neighborhoods and I remember my father telling me “ don’t meet people from the low lying life area and also the whites. So the problem cross from father to son. Luckily for me I broke the chain but causing a lot damage in the family prides. I married with a white woman and I have 2 children but my father never likes her and my daughter. My father died and never asked for his niece. She’s 23 right now .
Peace
This song popped up and played it repeatedly so to let it soak in
Not true your honor! I have never even heard of paul McCartney’s version. Black puppy white puppy is a song i wrote by myself on my piano keyboard!
Damn you! You beat me to it!🤣🎹
That's how I learned this song exist.
I’m a HUGE Beatles/McCartney fan and have been since I was a little kid so I’m definitely familiar with this song. But when I watched that new South Park (my favorite show of all time) I almost cried laughing when the amazing black puppy white puppy started. Also the way randy says “pyeeano” was perfect.

When I listen to this song, I feel warm inside. I am Japanese. When I listen to this song, I remember the time when I used to have hotpot parties with my friends in my room. It reminds me of those nostalgic days.
Fun Fact:
The song is about the ebony (black) and ivory (white) keys on a piano, but also deals with integration and racial harmony. The title was inspired by McCartney hearing Spike Milligan say, "Black notes, white notes, and you need to play the two to make harmony, folks!"
It's working great in Europe.... if you don't look
Fun fact is that they managed to make the entire song without ever meeting - which could be construed as tacit support for racial apartheid
WOW REALLY????
Soo cool❤️
@@kickpublishing Incorrect. They recorded it together during sessions from Feb 27 to March 2, 1981 at George Martin's studio in Montserrat. (Paul later did some overdubbing on the song). Why would you pass off incorrect information as a "fun fact?" It was not "tacit support for racial apartheid" and in fact was banned in South Africa.
This song is really deep. This song is what we need today's generation and to next generation
I loved the duets Paul did with Stevie and Michael. Such fun, carefree times in the early 80s.
Absolutely, I agree, before everybody disappeared into the asshole of their own importance...music should be fun...yes?
Paul McCartney looks so handsome.
I've always said music and good food bring people together. None of us make it out of this life alive. Love your neighbor, folks.
Ive loved this song since I was 10
I’ll never understand the hate this song gets. Rock on Stevie and Paul 🤘🏻🤘🏿
My only complaint is that the first verse is the same as the second with only the leads switched but the message is what's important and can't be diminished
@@dennytate26 thats not even a complain cos that’s how songs are made in other hand nowadays theres not eve lyrics on the songs lol

It's because of the John-Paul thing I think. John fans hate what Paul creates.
Paul & Stevie need to preach this word.

This is true most people need more love and care
It really could be this easy folks. When i first heard this song this 8 year old white kid from the suburbs began to formulate a foundation of Love for people for their humanity. It made me want to understand others' struggles, and why their struggle was mine, because at the end of the day we all breathe the same air. One Love.
Amen🙏
I don't care what people say. I will forever love this song.

why? what's the issue about here
@@johnrafaelangeles8446 they say the song was one of the worst hits of the 80s because of the song’s “heavy-handed” approach to the subject of racism. Some also point out that it’s ironic the black and white duet was entirely written by the white person.

Easy to say
it's already happening, we should celebrate that, don't let extremists who hate, rule the air time with rhetoric.
I've heard that some people hate this song. I don't know why. It's a good tune and definitely a good message.
I can imagine why the woke left hate the song: it encourages co-existence, rather than getting ivory abolished, punished, subjugated. The woke probably see a "micro-aggression" in every line of the song. "People are the same wherever you go." That's like saying "All lives matter."
Two of the greatest artists in music history with this great song. :)
great song? worst song ever
'Ebony and Ivory' not 'Ebony vs Ivory'. Together, alive.
Work together.
😍😍100%😍
Benny Hill That’s capitalism that thrives off of division, and racism is the easiest most efficient way to do that. The left wants nothing to do with that.
@@account3935 you will find racism on both sides of the political debate because it lies within everyone of us. The song 'Ebony and Ivory' is addressed to everyone.
If you note the tactics of Democrat politicians like AOC or Omar you will see they promote division by labeling anyone 'a racist' who disagrees with their thinking/agenda whether that person be black or white.
Thank hip hop for that
People should get the hint.
That it’s so corny and cheestatic with but now pointed and the production values were off the charts

This song is truly felt when you listen to whole tug of war album. When this song comes at last, it's absolutely beautiful
Here's to the moment we finally realized that we are in this together and this is exactly what needs to happen. For we do not battle with flesh and blood but we wage war with powers and principalities in high places!
So remember to wield that double edged sword of truth and put on all of the armour of God, trust & have faith in your God and just do the next right thing!

Hello 👋🏼 Ana Maria
Black puppy white puppy was a song I wrote by myself on my pianO keyboard
We're all flesh colored.
A desigualdade racial nunca deveria existir. Deveríamos nos unir (todos) para o fim comum: viver em irmandade.
😊❤👍
Such a good message and such a great song!!! We should live in harmony, side by side. :)

National Academy Of Sciences conducted yet another study, where they concluded that for the year 2019:

Totaly agree!
Yes we do. I don't want to not see color. I want a world where we all recognize different cultures and colors, and embrace them. We don't need to all be the same, that would be boring. I want Indian food, I want Ethiopian food, I want greasy spoon white guy diner food, I want Mexican food, I want authentic Chinese food, I want sushi. The same goes for music. Variety is the spice of life. I don't want all of us to be the same, I just want all of us to be equal. If you want everyone to assimilate to one culture, you are missing out on so much awesomeness that other people can offer you. We are all different, but we are all the same. One love.

Isso sim que é música. Melodia, arranjo perfeitos, e letra perfeita.
