I love mine , power and sound kit with stage 1 map RWD , it still scares the shit out of me on a damp day . Fun pratical daily driver with two dogs stuck to the back windscreen . This video sums the car up to a tee 👍
I swapped into one of these a few months ago from a very similar car but with 330d power plant (tuned ) wonderful cat, was faster from the get go but not as special at the top end where the b58 takes over. I’m planning to take mine to senior performance and have it stage 2 tuned with a quaiffe lsd fitted in the same instance. It was always the plan when I bought the car as ultimately this was my “well if I’m not having an m3 because I darn’t turn up at suppliers driving it” closet alternative Lovely car, very impressed in standard guise regardless. To add, as per your suggestion in the video….i also have a second car that’s used as a track car / local run about / school drop off (Honda civic type R…ep3) so I can retain my love of a manual box….the one thing I wish I could find when searching for 340i…..yes the zf auto is excellent (that said I’m going to get mine serviced now and then tuned at the same time os the map to the Alpina tune or similar) but I still would far rather have the complete control a manual gives than have to suffer the car deciding which gears best all the time….interesting to note your observations in sport +….ill try that 👍 They’re clearly rare cars and manual one with decent spec seems like hens teeth. Hoping with the right tune and the addition of the lsd this could turn into a real drivers weapon….and all for circa £2k outlay. Anyway, thanks again for the video 👍
Thankyou mate! The car was honestly so good... Just super smooth but potent when you push the loud pedal! Nice subtle changes too made it have a real presence
Great job man! For your next driving videos (especially with manual cars), it is possible to fix a camera on the pedalbox to watch your footwork please? :)
I'll do my best mate! The clio was such a surprise to me (as you could probably tell) that i didn't even think i was going to have anywhere near that much fun! 😂😂
How high mate? I think it boils down to how much you'll use it and how much it bothers you... If its been looked after, regular services etc it should be good as gold, but i understand high mileage could put people off. I personally wouldn't go for a car with over 100k, HOWEVER... if the price was right I'd consider.
340i touring is lovely but I have the 340i GT it’s way more practical bigger boot space inside back seats the space is crazy while being in normal driver position.
I’m literally picking up this car tomorrow 😂 can’t wait
You lucky sod!! Congratulations man 🙏

@@VersionOneUK Ok, great, thank you very much! :D
Worth buying one with higher mileage?

Stunning motor 👌
Loved it mate!
Potential next motor maybe?👀
@@lewisturner4751 i wish mate!
Never a fan of BMWs by the new ones do look good…
The steering feel of these is horrible.
This one didn't feel bad at all mate, especially for a big car... In the sportier setting and with the bilsteins it felt pretty good!
