I've enjoyed visiting your city's waterfront on several occasions. I wish ours here in Oshawa was a little cleaner and had some more different food vendors available on a regular basis.
I'll have to check out Oshawa sometime.
@TheKenContinuum not really too long of a journey. You could pretty much do the entire thing from Union Station out to our Lakeview Park via transit. GO Lakeshore East from Union to Durham College Station (last stop). Connect to Durham Region Transit for a bus or two down to the lake.🙂

What irks me is the bike paths which clearly are marked with a bicycle. You have joggers, walkers, scooter riders, some who Sunday drive all competing for space on a narrow strip. If what happens on the bike path were to take place on the highway there would be several casualties. It just seems like a free for all and a disaster waiting to happen.
It can be a bit chaotic.
