the yellow plug and spindle that it slides over in the gun is slightly smaller diameter on the new T Racer patio cleaner and its extensions than the spindle on my existing K4 full control and its attachments had to desrtoy the yellow plug to get it out agian
The yellow plug on my k4 keeps getting stuck in the trigger when I swap from the patio cleaner head to the normal lance. Any suggestions how to fix this?
Mines leaking from the Trigger gun where the accessories connect. It leaks with every accessorie so not the Orings in this video. Is there an O ring in the gun itself?
I've just destroyed two new o-rings trying to get them to fit underneath the yellow thing. After an hour I've given up. Putting the o-ring on the yellow bit is easy; trying to push it in is impossible without twisting and breaking the ring.
Hello Theo Drury, thank you for your comment. I am sorry to hear the yellow lug keeps coming out of your lance. Please could you email us some images of the barrel of your trigger gun, and images of the yellow lug to helpline@karcher.co.uk. This will help us determine whether there is any damage to the trigger gun or lance. We look forward to hearing from you, Lily.
Me too, on a 2 month old K7. It looks like the yellow lug is a tight fit into the handle part, and binds on it (the bit that fits inside it), so when the "nozzle" of the lance is twisted to change it for another fitting (snow foam lance), it twists the yellow lug, and it comes out and sticks in the handle.
Absolutely gash the yellow O-ring design is. Always gets stuck inside the gun housing without fail. Then if you can't pull them off with pliers you have to smash them off with a screwdriver and hammer as even dismantling the gun itself doesn't work as you still can't access the end of the tube. Absolutely gash design.
Colnago Bob :Hi Guy did you manage to solve issue? I bought a K7 and I have issue with the gun, waterleak when I plug the foam bottle. I bought new o-springs and yellow connector but still have issue..
Many thanks. This is exactly what i was looking for
thank you for this video, I fixed my leaking Lance because of the O ring was faulty.

New one or u need to twist it to lock it in
Quality control from Karcher would be the way to fix that. The yellow plug on the patio cleaner is too tight.
It’s a common fault, I drilled the centre of the plug 0.5mm bigger and now it’s perfect.
Fixed bouth nozles, thx
