- Hey Guys, Thanks for watching. I wanted to review the Bose Smart 300 Soundbar. We have been using the Bose 900 and JBL 5.1 but looking for the perfect soundbar for the bedroom. For the size and customization options, it is an interesting choice in the market. With the bass module, it sounds even better.

Nice video. Have you ever tried the surround speakers 300? I have a smart soundbar 300 and I don't feel any spatial, enveloping sound. I really would like to see a video about 300/600 + surround speakers or 900 standalone. Mostly for music. Thank you very much :)

Great video.
I just bought one. While the sound quality is great, I am having issues connecting the Bose Music App with the soundbar.
The initial setup goes smoothly but once setup the app fails to find the soundbar.
I tried a lot of things, i re-connected the wifi, I restarted the app and the device and router. I installed the app on an iphone and android. I even factory reset the device a couple of times. No luck.
My phones are connected on the 2.4GHz frequency on the router. I suppose the soundbar is also connected to the same frequency.
Any thoughts? Any help is greatly appreciated thank you🙏
Thanks you for your great video. i use BOSE 300 for my office PC and would like to know if i will be able to combinate it with DLL webcam which doesn't have microphone for TEAMS. thank you in advance for your advise.
Good review, Can this be used for confrencing (ie built in mic)? looking for a workspace audio upgrade as the laptop speaker is terrible for zoom meetings and I dont want to wear a headset.
hi! imho No built in mic and the sound stage on the 300 is too big to use as conference call speaker. For conference calls, 1 or 2 channel hi quality speakers should do the trick.
Great sound, but my soundbar lasted only 20 months. The warranty is only for 12 months in Australia, and Bose was offering to repair it for $175 plus shipping. It is very disappointing for a notably leading brand, and it clearly failed its consumer guarantee and product lifespan. Highly priced for an inferior product with an unreasonable warranty.
Check ACCC. most case warranty in australia is 2 years for products -I would go back to bose and site ACCC - consumer.gov.au/sites/consumer/files/inline-files/ACL-guidance-durability_0.pdf the goods should last reasonable life. 12 months is not - there are many cases where people have gone back to the manufacturer and citing ACCC they get up to 2 years

I just bought one and I cannot send the TV audio trough HDMI. Do I need an special cable? Currently I'm using the PS4 one.
Hello Francisco, you need to use a high speed HDMI Cable.
If you get one with a 10.2 Gbit/s bandwidtch or higher, it will work perfectly.
Check the tv , something on of all the hdmi ports fits for sound , in my tv is #1 port check on yours if that fit the issue
Where is audio samples?
From 3:00 to 7:00 is all samples and comparison
I really can't tell a difference between Bose 300 and my TCL tv speakers. I need to set Bose to level 30 to hear it and my TCL to 18 for same level. It is definitely not wort 400.00 when I can't hear the difference.
Which TCL TV do you have? But if a sound bar's sound doesn't fit your ears, I recommend looking for another one.
This makes zero sense. It is a night and day difference.
You may have tinnitus that’s why you can’t hear difference
its on sale for just under USD $200. would that be worth it? Also how is it as a conferencing speaker (can it beused for meetings?) ie does it have a mic
I own one, IMO it’s just a big Bluetooth speaker. Maybe the bass module would help, but I am not willing to invest anymore money in Bose equipment
I dont hear any surround sound from that. Even the left and right, can't hear them. Wasted my money
