Just a great remark, the Smart Sounbar 300 has just as many transducer Drivers as the SoundBar 700, making the value in my opinion be higher for lower prices for the Smart SoundBar 300!
Personally i love sound of BOSE TV speakers bcoz it gives proper treble & bass combination than smart sound bar 300 if base module 500 connect to TV speakers it will be best sound with budget friendly cost 😀
Agree I am testing in a store for some time both speakers and i have to say I like better bose tv speaker! Its surprising because its cheaper but in my opinion the sound is nicer 😀 Greets from Poland
@London Newyork basically he’s saying the soundbars are comparable when paired with the optional bass modules. The 300 is going to have more features and slightly better sound but not worth the cost difference to the Bose tv speaker
I currently have the Bose TV speaker and I love it. I want to upgrade to the Smart Sound bar 300. My question is does the 300 have more bass than the Tv speaker. I was definitely Impressed with the bass from the TV speaker.
So bought the TV Speaker 6 months ago in living room, got the 500 Bass too. Now am thinking , given size of room (includes open concept kitchen, dinning room as well) might go up to the 300, given the extra drivers and your comments in video. Think worth it?
You missed a major point for considering the Bose TV Speaker: it has a voice clarity adjuster. Does that feature work well? I have a hearing loss and that is my main interest.
I purchased the TV speaker and it works very well for the hearing impaired, like myself. In addition the dialog enhancement control is on the remote, not on the app, which makes the TV Speaker better than the other Bose soundbars.
I’m waiting for mine to be delivered but if the reviews I’ve read it has probably the best dialogue enhancer out of any standalone soundbar. It’s nice that you have the option to add the bass module. However, if you’re using it for anything but say a bedroom you might want to upgrade or just bite the bullet and get the set. I’ve heard Bose isn’t the best in sound anymore (I guess Sonos, Klipstch are the best people say) but I guess it will depend on what you spend. Supposedly Bose doesn’t have good highs and lows
The Bose 300 actually has two additional speakers that point out toward the sides... which he forgot to mention. So it's a total of 6 speakers and one tweeter.
FYI, I got the 300 and the sub-woofer 500, as well, which was well worth it. Incredible sound. Considering getting the side speakers for more surround sound effect, but not sure they’re worth it. The 300 and sub-woofer were, though, and are an awesome combo. Thanks again!
@@jayhache5609 did you get the side speakers for the 300?? Im planning on getting the sode speakers. 400.00 is alot especially in this day and age. But my mind is kinda of made up
My big issue is the voice clarity. Presently have a Polk Mag Mini, and I find often hard to hear voice clear over background, even with voice boost option. Are they both good, and/or which better?
For small room you can go with Bose TV speaker. for living room go with Bose smart 300. if budget can be pushed a bit more add Bass module 500. Do not worry at all about voice clarity. Bose is famous for it's drawback "no highs, no lows, must be bose" means bose midrange( voice ) is always extremely good. but with the new generation smart speakers 300, 500, 700 Bose has all highs, mids and lows very well balanced. I have the Bose 500 set up for last 1 year and I enjoy it daily at least for a couple of hours.
Bose midrange is always extremely good and even with 0 it will work amazing. I keep it 10 for center, which is for voice i.e midrange . 30-40 for bass and again 10 for treble. Good luck.
I know you can get a bass module for this but only got the dough to fork out for one. So how is the bass on just the soundbar, does it still bump fairly well? Thanks for video I just can not hear the test properly as just have the built in tv speaker right now.
@@lucidreviews6809 not much.but overall t sound quality of t bose tv speaker is smooth and clean. If U want more bass with great sound nothing beats t bose soundbar 700 with t bass 700 for t price.
absolutely. Just do not set up Alexa in your Bose smart speaker. Alexa can be turned on off. or do not even create and account for Alexa in your Bose music app.

The one you have is the larger one with more output and I believe larger speakers. I also believe that yours has two sound radiators and four drivers facing forward. You have a higher end model. the sound from yours is i believe is fuller.

I was going to buy the Sonos beam now seeing the Bose 300 reviews I want to get the Bose due to Bluetooth which Sonos doesn’t. Also the extra speakers are more affordable than the Sonos. I do have my QC35s headphones for a few years now and I still love them.
I just got my TV speaker for my desktop setup. The design and build quality are fantastic. But the sound quality is not what I expected, my old Sound Touch 20 was sounding way better but the TV speaker simply produces more Bass. I feel the instruments and vocals are lost.

Yes, the 300/500/700 all have more powerful built in bass.

For a small boxed room im telling its worth buying the tv speaker
Yes they both have good bass but 300 has more.

I don’t think upgrading to the 300 would be much different. Maybe the 500 or 700 you would see a bigger difference.

I’m confused. I have Bose SoundTouch 300. I heard this is now discontinued. Is there any sound quality differences between all of these?

Your's is the best Bose had made in that price range. I got a Bose TV Speaker recently but i just love the sound quality from my old SoundTouch 20.

I just wonder if you know what is the difference between Bose smart 300 and Bose soundbar 500 ?
Greetings from Sweden
Mainly the speaker output area and bass, both can be used with Alexa or google
the music told you which one was better 300 hands down
No the price told everyone which one was better 😂
@@nero786 and size if like me it's an issue.
Which one sounds better?
Bose 300 but very similar
What is t difference as far as t sound quality goes?
Both have great sound quality but the 300 has more power and bass
Which bass module is recommended with t bose 300?
Bose 500 bass module but if you want more bass than that the Bose 700 bass module
Why would you need or mention if the soundbars are portable?
Some people use this as a party speaker but it needs a power source.
4 drivers vs 2 drivers. 1 center speaker

is this the $399 compared to the $249?
yes
Any chance we can get some specs like is it 3.1 channel?
It sounds like the 300 is more crisp and clearer than the tv speaker which is not that clear.
