I have this same soundbar, Bass and surround speakers which I just set up the other day. I noticed in video you placed the soundbar around four to six inches back from front edge of cabinet. Bose recommends you pretty much align the front face of soundbar with front edge of cabinet it sits on, or maybe 1/4 inch back from front fade of cabinet.
Thanks for the video. Do you know how the Ultra compares to the 900 soundbar? I have a 900 and am wondering if the only differences between the two are dialogue mode and Bluetooth version.
Truthfully the biggest difference you’d notice would be in the AI dialogue mode. If you’ve never really thought about/wished for more dialogue clarity with the 900 then this might just be a case of “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” in my opinion. But if you think you’d really enjoy having crisper dialogue then that’s where you’ll get the most out of your money for the upgrade for sure - the rest is very similar!
I’m using a Bose Ultra Soundbar with the 700 Module & 700 Surround speakers & what tone settings would you recommend? After AdaptiQ calibration, on the app Bass, treble, center & Height speakers levels remain zero, is it something to be changed by the user?
I have ultra soundbar Please anyone tell me why surround sound 700 speakers it’s not working when I used Bluetooth only but Module 700 bass it’s works thanks
I have a 5.1 system with denon. However, I'm still bothered by the dialogue, which is often too quiet. Do you think the Bose is an upgrade in terms of dialogue and sound?
The AI dialogue mode for sure makes a difference. Sometimes I toggle it off just to test if I’m just imagining it’s better or if it’s really better haha it’s a great feature
Great video. Do you feel that the dialog mode subtracts from the other parts of the audio when its on? Any annoying reflections from the glossy top? Im waiting for Bose to update the rear speakers, but since I already have the 700 bass module, the Smart Ultra seems like a worthy upgrade to save money due to not having to buy another bass module.
I think the dialogue mode does a great job tbh. Haven't turned it off since I got the bar, and it hasn't really had me yearning for more of the other audio parts - I think because it really focuses on boosting the dialogue vs. turning down everything else. Glossy top has been fine, but the only thing you need to be mindful of is fingerprints and dust. Haven't had any issues with reflections though
Hey rillo what's hifi say that the bose is good not great and they gave sony ht7000 the winning sound but I love bose so not sure why they say that and others the samsung q990c
Yo! I haven't personally tested the Sony ht7000 so I can't say for sure, but I think at the end of the day a lot of it comes down to personal preference and what you're looking for in a soundbar. I've had no complaints with the Bose system
I own this soundbar and 700 sub. It's terrible. Flat audio out the box, adaptIQ improves it but KILLS lows so your sub is ruined. Just a disappointing experience for the price point
I had the same issue of poor sound quality initially then I tweaked the settings and bar got updated. Now it sounds great. Remember reset everything first then Pair again and tweak settings

Such a nice living room
Thank you :D
Looks and sounds really good without looking like all of the other soundbars that are big and ugly!😮
Agreed! Big fan of the design
Living room twins!!!!
LETS GOOO
Is this a home or a business office? The decor looks like a home space but when you show angles, it seems like a work studio…
W video homie. Many more to come let’s go 🎉

the AI dialoguew works. however i dont really use it as boses center channel is another strong point without AI dialogue on.
Making me want to upgrade my soundbar 😅

Ok no problem thanks for the info 👍
your floating shelve is black, a white soundbar would have made a better aesthetics and make it more visible
I don’t agree. Black looks awesome

Completely disagree. Even my soundtouch 300 sounds amazing with the 700 bass module.
