No one, no one could sing like Freddie. Queen was at the top of their game in 1986. Never sounded better.

I may be biased, but Freddie's best vocal is probably Somebody To Love live at 1981 Montreal Concert. Also at that concert great songs include Save Me and Dragon Attack. But my favorite is Fat Bottomed Girls at the Milton Keynes Bowl. It is a great hard rocking song! Great reaction, thanks!

No bells and whistles, auto tune etc: just four consummate professional musicians giving an epic performance, btw, Freddie was suffering from the flu here.

This was one of several written for the movie and series HIGHLANDER about immortals who live while the love of their lives age and die. Written by Brian, along with Gimme the Prize. Roger wrote A Kind Of Magic, Freddie wrote Princes of the Universe, and John wrote One Year of Love

I love this performance. It makes me happy and sad at the same time. Not only because of what Freddie said at the beginning, but really the song itself, every time I hear this song, it is a happy/sad reaction that I cannot explain. But I listen to it a LOT anyway. Because that is life really, moments of happy/sad. Miss Freddie!! Thank you! ❤️❤️

As much as I adore watching Queen perform live, they are soooooo amazing. Here are a few studio versions for you to check out - My Melancholy Blues, a soft jazz song that shows off Freddie's vocals well. Millionaire Waltz, a waltz with a twist of Queen. Seaside Rendezvous, this is what happens when Freddie and Roger decide to have fun in the studio, a music hall style song where Freddie and Roger imitate various instruments using ony their immense vocal talents. And finally, ever wondered what happens if you piss off Freddie, try Death On Two Legs (I recommend the lyric version for this). The band discovered their manager was ripping them off and this was Freddie's response, needless to say he was not a happy chappy!

🙋🏾‍♀️ Lfc Rules...💁🏾‍♀️ Yes BUT before he does “Death on Two Legs (Dedicated to...)” he must do it precursor “Flick of the Wrist” first as it basically tells the story of being made to sign on the dotted line for sharks of any industry but mainly the music whereas the follow-up “Death...” is the diss tract to their particular shark whom will remain nameless 🤣!

OK I'm old, I saw Queen live 5 times, even at this Concert in 1986, my beautiful and wonderful owner, erm boss, no Wife got the tickets as a surprise. I listened to Live Aid, to this day it's the largest concert ever held. It was in aid to raise money for the Ethiopian Famine in the early 1980's. At the time of Live Aid I was serving in the British Royal Marine Commandos in a refugee camp in Ethiopia. We listened to it on the radio. We were surrounded be the horror of the Famine, but when Queen came on the radio those poor soles who were there even reacted in a very positive way. I remember that a lot of us Royal Marine Commandos were crying watching some of the children dancing along, I'm teary eyed just remembering. I looked around at men I had fought alongside, who were tough, hardened Royal Marine Commandos who I had fought along side in a war against Argentinian's in 82. By the end of Queen's set we were dancing with the children. It went along way to help build their trust in us. The famine is one of the two worst memories I have. I only watched it for the first time last year, my son put it on the TV. A lot of memories came back and a lot of tears. 34 years of serving Her Majesty and Country and I still wept like it was yesterday, something's you never forget.
I have served my Queen and Country on every Continent. I was sent to fight in the Balkans and was in both invasions of Iraq and the war on "Terror". Myself and a fellow old timer in the Royal Marine Commandos used to sing their songs when we came under fire to calm the younger lads by taking their minds off the incoming fire. Like "Queen, E.L.O. (Electric Light Orchestra), Thin Lizzy, Motorhead, Jimmy Hendrix, anything we knew the words to, and yes they thought we were nutcases. After we had finished our assignment or patrol and we had returned to base, either in Iraq or Afghanistan, we would sing E.L.O.s' song "I'm Alive". I also sang it at his funeral which put as smile on his widow's face. On a different occasion I was wounded, on 14 September, 2014 my son broke me out of military hospital to go to this concert because he knew I loved E.L.O. I later served in the along side the Royal Marine Commandos in more specialised forces and have no regrets. My fellow old timer had been killed at the same time I was wounded on that occasion. We used to be dropped into regular outfits to keep us at full readiness, and back in the U.K. we worked in Hospitals to maintain our medical knowledge. So my son knew seeing E.L.O. in Hyde Park would give me a bit of a pick me up. He also did it again and took me to Glastonbury in 2016 on another occasion I didn't keep my head down.
After being declared fit I returned to my Regiment of Irregulars as we called ourselves, and returned to Afghanistan in 2015. My team were patrolling the mountain passes and villages when we came under aggressive sustained fire. We managed to get the civilians inside and under cover while returning fire, and managed to call in for and ground support. Even then I was singing "Don't stop me now" by Queen. The village was being attacked on 2 sides so it made it easier for the 4 of us to defend using "fire and move", and the occasional grouping fire tactics. There were between 30 to 40 Taliban attacking, trying to press us harder, that's when I heard a crack followed by a ringing deafness. And at that moment my career as an active duty Trooper ended, apparently an RPG round hit a wall 5 feet away from me I was thrown and through the air about 25 feet and I hit a wall. The woman of the house dragged me into her home as I was struck by 2 rounds, and my legs and lower back were on fire. She is the bravest person I have ever known. Between her and her oldest daughter they kept me alive for 25 minutes until the area was reclaimed and safe so a helicopter could come in and retrieve me. But all I remember about that was holding her hand and refusing to let go, so she and her 2 daughters were flown out with us. One of my fellow Troopers told me I was singing to them.
There is a happy piece of news as to how I've ended up mainly wheelchair bound. The wonderful women who saved my life now lives here in the U.K. almost next door to me. If they had been left in Afghanistan the Taliban would have killed them after the village had been left by our rescue group, My Commanding Officer put a huge amount of pressure on our Ambassador and the Home Office to get them relocated to England, also my daughter and oldest son sponsored them. Now they live in a house 5 doors away from me, and I am kept very much in check by my second "adopted" daughter and my two newest Granddaughters. So for all my fellow citizens of our planet who are sharing these uncertain time's, though things seem and are almost unbearable with the terrible loss and suffering so many are going through, we as a human race will make it through the epidemic. We just can't loose our humanity.
A little bit more icing on the cake of life is that I took Both my daughters to see E.L.O. at Wembley on the 24 June 2017. Now my daughters Dawn and Laaibah now the joy E.L.O. can put in your heart when you need it, plus the other 59,997 people who were there enjoyed it too. You can find the concert on here too. I do have a lot of physical disabilities an suffer from PTSD and depression, and in 2015 I had a daughter, 2 sons and 4 grand children. When I was still going through long hospitalisations on many occasions and massive bouts of mental pain I would always look towards my family for strength, and they always gave it to me, my 2 daughters, 2 sons and 7 grand children.

You haven't even scratched the surface of what Queen is all about. They are the most diverse rock group that ever performed. I'm sure you know, " We are the Champions," "We Will Rock You," and "Bohemian Rapsody." 18 albums and at least one number on hit on each album. Several of their albums went platinum. Hang in there on Queen reactions and Queen fans will find you. Great reaction to this song. Good luck with Queen reactions. We will be waiting for more.

One of the last songs laid down by Queen was The Show Must Go On. Freddie could hardly walk by then and Aids had ravaged him. He was barely recognisable. His voice? Never stronger. Who Wants to Live is a top performance, agreed. But The Show Must Go On, for me, has to rate as the purist display of talent over nature I've ever heard. And I heard these guys in 1971 and still listen to their music every day. Good luck with the channel

Did you notice that Brian May started out on keys - switched to guitar - and that Brian and Roger also sang amazing harmonies (esp. Roger on the high parts - as usual) - as noted below - see Somebody to Love live at Montreal - but I think - even better - from the same live concert: "Save Me" - that has amazing switch-up again from Brian to Fred on keys/guitar...

Whats really nice here is to see Brian (the guitarist) playing the Piano, although its a keyboard lol. I'll just write what each member can play. Freddie Mercury: Guitar, Piano and Sing (he can sing high but often screams his highest notes). Brian May: Guitar, Piano and Sing. John Deacon: *Bass* , Piano, ?Drums?. Roger Taylor: Ukulele, Guitar, Drums, Sing (Really high too. He can even hold his High notes unlike Freddie. For example E6).

If someone said that this was the best live performance of this song, he is either totally ignorant or a liar. Most of the official releases are either overdubbed or pitch corrected. One exception might be the Queen on fire: Live at the Bowl DVD (one crack on Fat Bottomed Girls was fixed). So if you wanna have the true Queen experience, you have either to look for pre-overdubbed versions or for bootlegs.
Some suggestions for high quality bootlegs:
    1976/01/30 Boston
    1977/12/11 Houston
    1980/09/19 Rosemont
    Great Performances:
    1975/05/01 Tokyo
    1977/10/06 London
    1978/04/13 Copenhagen
    1979/12/04 Newcastle
