This was really exciting. It's always fun to see people share this passion with others. I like the idea of having your assistant pick out wines, and to have guests that maybe also bring wines to blind/share with you. Talking about what foods, meals, or cheeses might pair well with these wines would be a nice touch as well. Thanks for sharing!

The grape is called Blaufränkisch by our Austrian neighbors. More people might know that denomination.

Great video, union of my 2 favourite wine channels and masters. Missed Peter. And missed Jay talking german, adore his language skills. And at least - recognizing lemberger is absolutly brillant.
It is also called Blaufrankisch which is what we use in america as the name Lemberger is not appreciated in america due to the cheese.... Its a fantastic grape it is related to pinot and gamay genetically. Amazing grape that has done well here in california in my vineyard.
