This project takes me back to my decoupage roots. Decoupaging any and everything that was glass...I haven’t done anything glass in years. Your bowl is stunning. I love working with mulberry paper.. it gives the project such a soft vintage look, especially if it has the sliver or gold threads. I remember watching one of your very old Christmas videos using the most beautiful napkin on a glass plate (reverse decoupage). It was blue and gold. I watched that over and over just to make sure I did it correctly. It was lots of fun. Well until next week “coffee and Patti”. Have a lovely weekend. 💯😘🦋

Dear Patioelf, I love your reverse decoupaged bowl, especially the way you took it to another level by adding the gold leaf to the rim and then decoupaging the outside of the bowl so it looks gorgeous both inside and out. BTW, you can use ink jet prints to decoupage with! All you have to do is place your prints on a baking tray and put them in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius) for exactly 5 minutes, and then take them out and let them cool. Once they're cool you just need to spray the prints with hair spray, going from left to right across the paper, without being heavy handed with it. And it's ready to use in decoupage. This method works because the heat seals the ink,so it doesn't run and the hair spray completes the sealing process. I've tried this a few times and it works really well. Here we area few years later but I so enjoy your video! Your work is very detailed. I am surfing the internet to try and find the type of mulberry paper that you are using. There are some with gold fleck, but they appear to be too thick? Can you share where you found your paper?
