Nice job👍
Thank you, Elizabeth
What wax are you using please? The results are striking 😊
Thank you, Liz 🩵 I am using Vintage Paint Clear Wax first and then Annie Sloan Black Wax.
This sis gorgeous ❤ Question for you: when you stick the paper, is it okay if the pieces of paper overlap? Tia!
💜 Try to have as little overlap as possible, because the overlap will be darker than the rest of the napkin. Think of it as a jigsaw puzzle, with pieces fitting as tightly as possible. Or you could try napkins with white background. When you paint the backs of the glued on napkins, the white paint will blend in with the white napkin background.
@@mycozynest thanks so much for the prompt response and the smart hack too ❤️❤️
Absolutely beautiful ❤ My neighbor would love this, she has a lot of silver/grey decor and this would fit right in! Where did you buy the beautiful napkins?
Thank you so much 🩵 I am on the lookout for napkins everywhere I go and unfortunately I don't keep track of my purchases 🙃
What type of paint
Chalk paint for the background (Vintage Paint by JDL - Warm Cream) and acrylic metallic paint as a final coat (Vintage Paint - Metallic Silver).
That is very pretty. I’m wondering what wax you used and where you get the silicone trim molds. Thank you!
Thank you :) Clear wax is from Vintage Paint by JDL and black wax is from Annie Sloan. Silicone molds are from Aliexpress
Why use wax?
Just added protection. Metallic paint does have a built in top coat, but I like to use wax as well. And when I am highlighting features such as trim, I use clear wax first and then black wax. Black wax is easier to control if it is applied over clear wax.
