When it comes to vodka for my part its not just about the price, but how many times it has been distilled. Because if its been distilled many times it tends to be smoother, have less of an aftertaste and is barely noticeable in drinks. One of my favorites has to be Ciroc, thats one smooth vodka!
Maybe one day Justine will pound back Durian like she does the whiskey and not flinch at all.. "ah this durian hmm has peaty note to it at the back of the throat" lol
We have a blizzard warning where I live in Michigan the next couple of days, hoping for an advent calendar video for Christmas to get me through the winter weather blast!!! 😁🤞🏻😁
A huge part of the price of these bottles are taxes. In the Navy we can buy them without tax and they are quite affordable. (I think the Cristal head was around €50) And even though I also like chugging a glass here and there, doing it with high percentage spirits isn't the best idea to taste it. Just make your tongue wet and let the alcohol evaporate while inhaling via the nose and you will notice the delicate flavors in the drink.
having done private studies on this topic. lol, I find where the cost comes in is the day after, I personally seem to have worse hangovers on the cheaper than on the expensive. And as others have stated people seem to drift to the familiar.
Absolutely, being something of a semi-pro, the quality of your hangover is very dependent on the price of the whiskey. Mathematically a hangover is inversely proportional to the price of your whisky in the general case.
Just an idea for us watchers and the Tryers you should start doing the math on how much the shot would cost! That would be fun information to know! Great video!

I think people buy Crystal Skull once, for the bottle, then just refill it with whatever Vodka they have on hand.
For London dry yeah I wouldn't spend over 30 but there are great ones at or around 65 usd for botanical
Clisare and Ciara…..my ladies faire….never admit to being cheap dates! Get the most expensive hotdog in the menu, whether you like it or not, and chase it with a cheap beer. Always keep ‘em guessing lmao.
So good to see Dermot and Justine back together again!!!! It’s been too long!
Martin and George, enjoy what you love and love what you enjoy….sla’inte mhath
Happy Holidays to everyone at TRY Channel. May this be a season of kindness, forgiveness, and enjoying the simple pleasures that we’ve long ago taken for granted or forgotten. Blessings always…..💖
The chick with the beanie on seems like she is down to earth she seems like she has an awesome personality and makes me want to climb through the screen and start taking shots with them seems like a lot of fun
When it comes to vodka for my part its not just about the price, but how many times it has been distilled. Because if its been distilled many times it tends to be smoother, have less of an aftertaste and is barely noticeable in drinks. One of my favorites has to be Ciroc, thats one smooth vodka!
omg Justine seems like such a fun person to be around, my girlcrush for sure 0.0
Happy Holidays from the USA, I love you all, you ladies and gents make me laugh 😂😂
You could see the disappointment on Dermot's face for getting anything wrong that could be associated with Ghostbusters
4:30 She called O "Zero". 😂
A huge part of the price of these bottles are taxes. In the Navy we can buy them without tax and they are quite affordable. (I think the Cristal head was around €50)
And even though I also like chugging a glass here and there, doing it with high percentage spirits isn't the best idea to taste it.
Cheaper has less filtering.
Absolutely, being something of a semi-pro, the quality of your hangover is very dependent on the price of the whiskey. Mathematically a hangover is inversely proportional to the price of your whisky in the general case.
"Make a rice cake out of rum" 😂😂 only on the try chanel would you hear such a sentence
Just an idea for us watchers and the Tryers you should start doing the math on how much the shot would cost! That would be fun information to know! Great video!
I miss Martin and George. Bring them back!
I just love watching Irish people in various stages of inebriation.
Ciara is so classy but earthy also. The perfect combo. You can take her anywhere.
Except a bar. Because she will start to break sh*t. Ask the reindeer how they know.
Even when she spits up
I'd like to know where you bought your crystal head vodka cuz it's here in Ohio it's only 50 USD....
Alot of my alcohol choices are thanks to you all. So of course I appreciate that. Curious, speaking of alcohol, will you all be doing the alcohol advent calendar this Friday?
This was a fantastic video. Everyone was happy, and had a great time. Love it all.
3 take aways from this video: 1) I've never seen you (except Martin and George) drink so little from your glass; 2) I've never seen so many wrong guesses; 3) you all genuinely make me laugh. Keep up the good work TRY.
Don’t worry, Dan Aykroyd will probably forgive you. He is Canadian, after all.
I really really hope so. 😢
Hi Justine looks like you enjoyed doing this video for Try. & You look incredible in your new profile pic for Twitter.
OK now... I will have to make a GIF of Dermot making that "expensive" gesture.
And on that note, it makes me feel better that if I slam down a bottle of 30 year old Teeling, I can piss into my friend's wallet with a clear conscience.
I visited the Teeling distillery in May and I saw that expensive bottle, and had the same reaction. I would've loved to taste it though. So jealous.
They were never told what they are supposed to appreciate...love that they love things on it's merits
