Seamus and Thomas are exactly who I would expect to see if I walked into an Irish pub, sitting there, drink in hand, solving the world's problems. Thomas killed me with that "Irish Jackass" comment. Lena really got lit up by that last sauce.
Loved the “Irish Jackass” comment! Ha!

As a former Pepper Palace Store Manager (creator of The End: Flatline), it makes me proud to see my former company getting some recognition and love!! Awesome!!!
I tried that stuff one day on an empty stomach and it almost immediately irritated my stomach and gave me the shits.
Pepper palace is shits ina bottle lol
I actually buy your devilish sauce regularly and recently bought the spice version.
I have a bottle I use for chili, just my bowl because my family thinks ketchup is spicy.
I'd drink them all up again! Great shoot, great partner!
You and Thomas look like two brothers who opened their own distillery

Seamus i love you too
You took those like a champ, Seamus! Well done!!
I used to bring random hot sauces into work all the time and most of them were medium (500,000 scoville) to hot (2,000,000 scoville) -- and we'd all share them based on what we had for lunch. One day I brought in The End and I told everyone that it was going to be the hottest one I had. One of my coworkers said, "How hot could it be?" and poured it directly into his mouth. He regretted his decision for the next 2 hours and then went home sick at the end of the day.
Thats gotta be funniest and saddest thing I've read.... That poor person
I love the channel. I’m an actual hot pepper farmer in the US. Milk doesn’t work for cooling off your mouth like green table grapes. It’s almost instant and they clean your pallet. I use them for tasting fresh peppers.
That's a great thing to know! 😉😁
As a pepper head I've been using grapes (and other fruits to be fair) to clean the pallet and help with the burn (somewhat). I remember close to 10 years ago or so now I ate a Carolina reaper when I hadn't had a superhot in a while so my tolerance was basically nothing and I thought I was going to die - and my friend gave me (I think) pineapple and I was blown away by how much it helped. Also, thank you for growing peppers. As a pepper head, I love seeking that pain threshold and the cap high helps me with my chronic pain actually.
One of the reasons I like wasabi type heat is because it goes away pretty quickly and it doesn’t “revisit“ later. 😉 But this little tidbit about grapes is a wonderful one, and now I’ve got to try them the next time I have something hot. My SO is a real ppepperhead, and I am not quite there!
I've found olive oil to be extremely effective in pulling the capsaicin away. Will definitely try grapes in the future. I'm in love with scorpion peppers.
Alcohol, capsaicin is oil based.
You're supposed to shake the vinegar sauces vigorously to put the fatty spice molecules into suspension in the vinegar
The stars of the video have "people" to do that. Divas don't shake bottles, donchaknow.

Thanks so much for sending them, Kate! Massively appreciated! 😁🙏
Kate, thank you for the sizzling (!) entertainment😂
Good stuff, Kate!
🤣😂🤣
I'd love to see a Hot Ones crossover where you guys try their sauces and Sean asks questions.
I was about to say this! I have some of their sauces, they will not let you down. Apollo x is gonna last me a very long time.
The tryers should do Truth or Dab in pairs like they usually do. That'd be fun
@@wb3191Yeah. I have the season 21 sauces the first are actually really good. All of them are actually tastey but lordy once you hit sauce 5 your begging for mercy from the heat. I even got brave and bought a real bottle of the Da Bomb Beyond Insanity as seen on the show. Not the less punchy one they sent in the box. It's no joke stuff. Will melt your face.
🔥 Fire Queen 🔥 reporting for duty! 🙋🏻♀
Ok, now that you've embraced the nickname....what were Alex's thoughts on his fuzzy bum nickname?
Loved your hair this shot! (I understood you cut if off after summer)
Yay Clisare!!! ❤️
You are unstoppable. 👏
I’d think your feet would be sore from all the butt you kick
I appreciate Lena's detailed insight of what she's going through ...
~ In other videos too , come to think of it !
For those wondering, the "extract" mentioned on the first hot sauce as being absent is pure capsaicin abstract, a concentrated capsaicin extract taken from hot peppers that is used to give some of the hottest hot sauces their extreme heat. It lacks flavor in and of itself so hot sauces largely based on it largely have only extreme heat and little flavor. Great for hot sauce challenges but less interesting for food you wish to enjoy.
You can buy it in in liquid or powder form to add to homemade hot sauces. Hot sauces like Pure Evil and Satan's Blood are two examples of hot sauces that use capsaicin extract as a key ingredient and also are less flavorfully than other hot sauces without it.
There's absolutely a difference. I can enjoy natural pepper sauces that are several times hotter than extract based sauces and enjoy them with no problem. For example, Melinda's, Tropical Pepper Co., or El Yucateca, in their spiciest varieties. Even love them.
Extract based sauces, especially Dave's Insanity, Mad Dog, and the like, actually physically hurt me. Nose bleeds, debilitating nausea, etc. They're not hot sauces, they're chemicals.
Talking about meant to be added to sauces... that's exactly what "The End" is supposed to be consumed, just add a couple drops to your chili at home. It says on the bottle not to be eaten on its own.
The end is a wonderful flavor addition. Laughed that the shop in round Rock texas makes you sign a waiver before you can try it. 2 minute build up and they aren't kidding. Great taste!
I’m more of a salsa person than hot sauce, but I do enjoy the convenience of a ready made pepper sauce. Emphasis on pepper. To me, the extract is chemically tasting and doesn’t enhance the flavor.
I love your videos. I just realized the amount of actual detailed, uninterrupted conversation that you guys have. It's inspiring. You guys have so much fun and it's genuine. Maybe that's just the way the culture is in Ireland.
I just started laughing when Lena said, "shanked in the mouth" because the look on her face seemed to say, "Oh, not again!"
I completely misheard what Lena said.
The hellfire is actually quite tasty. They don’t mention this in the video, but it also has black garlic, and tastes amazing in salsa.
True. I got that stuff in a Hot Ones collection pack and it was delicious
I have that Hellfire and its delicious and very spicy, im pretty sure its all natural but id have to check the label.
Iirc the Fiery Fool didn't have no black garlic in it?
Clare & Graeme were the best in this episode 😊 they played well off each other.
I don't get why, when trying the hottest sauces made, no one is wearing gloves.
I would NOT want to forget & touch my eyes after the shoot 😳
eyes? pfff
how about if you go take a piss
@@albval7778 lol even MORE reason to wear gloves
I love Clare she is great, and Graeme is a great new addition as well, most of the try'ers are great but i think we all have our favorites
Or use the urinal. 😳
I loved this one. I’m a ChiliHead (I love extreme spicy food). I grow and eat all the hottest chilis in the world (Reapers, Scorpions, etc) and have a huge hot sauce collection. I have the Guinness world record “Hottest food product ever created” (Blair’s 16 Million Reserve) and have trained my mouth for extracts up to 11M Scoville. I’ve made my own extract hot sauce that is a little over 5M.
Savage 🙇♂️
My previous job was filled with pepperheads. We would try different hot sauces weekly if not more. One guy bought in that Flatline and let me tell you, nothing came close. Apollo pepper last dab was cake. Da Bomb also paled in comparison. One poor work study came in for his first day that day and did not understand that our warnings were sincere and spent the next half hour washing his mouth out. A couple people had to run out for antacids.
I was the one who typically brought the hot sauces around. After that one half the people didnt take any more, at least without looking at me cross-eyed, even though i made it clear that this thing was hot.
When I first tried flatline I ended up eating my ice cream with a butter knife as I didn't want to take the time to find a spoon
Wow! Kicked off Da Bomb????
@@bethchaney1965 Dont get me wrong, that was intense, but Id say the effects were roughly 75% worse. It has been over a year since though.
After that incident I did continue to try Flatline but only the barest tip of a toothpick.
@@bethchaney1965 Da Bomb isn't that severe -- its just very peppery.
I love hot sauce, but as im getting older unfortunately im noticing it isn't liking me back very much. Usually just terrible stomach burn and heartburn, bums me out cuz I love it so much
Love this channel! The torture they put themselves through just to entertain us is greatly appreciated.
Ok, when Thomas said, that The Try Channel was turning into "Irish Jackass" I laughed for a good 5 minutes. You do have your moments, but you all are quite brave. Cheers.
Graeme is honestly so funny i adore him
I'd absolutely watch a longer form video of Tryers doing the hot ones challenge, complete with having to answer questions while their brains are on fire.
I thought the same thing!
So. Irish hot ones?
That would be a great video
100%
This needs to be a thing!
Wow! these folks are awesome! One of the ladies was super chill the entire time! Much respect!
Fun fact, after enough capsaicin in one setting, your "hot sauce" receptors will become flooded making it seem like other things are less hot. So yo Paddy's point, he prob was kinda broken at one point lol. His receptors probably were actually not able to fully stimulate making each subsequent sauce less hot, until the last one at least, lol. That last one was more of an extract than an actual sauce lol
Yeah…give it a few hours folks…🤣 The other side of eating those hot sauces will be so much worse…
Exactly. There is an immunity effect once you are hit with the first one. If your eyes water and nose ran, you can hit more hot stuff and not have impact. It is like diving into a cold pool. There is the initial shock and then bliss.
@@Thegraylady lol, yeah there is another sensation that normally doesn't have tingly sensation. However, this much hot sauce yall going to ting lol.
I have eaten a whole Ghost Pepper, and I have beaten the 4-Horsemen Challenge at Chunkies in San Antonio. I have learned enough never to try a 7M SU substance. I know the pain in the mouth is not near the pain as it travels through your bowels like a knife until it erupts the next day out of the south end of the body. I hope the IrPT team had an as mild as possible next morning.
Have I said how much I love the TRY folks today? I LOVE Y'ALL!
I have this hot sauce ''The End''. My girlfriend added a tiny amount inside the pasta sauce, with the steam coming off she almost lost her eye because of the irritation. That is how spicy it is.
That's almost like when I made some hot sauce in an unventilated kitchen.
It's not a fun time for sure.
Thanks Flatline. I can finally FEEL.....red.
Feel? You were talking like you were having an existential crisis, man.
Whenever I need to have a good cry, I love watching this channel. The tears just pour down my face on both sides from laughing so f’n hard!
I felt for all of the guys in this one, especially Thomas, in his first 'mental hot' sauce video! I mean if Paddy felt it, they must have been hot...also doubly cruel to do this in the height of summer!!
I have been to some places where they sell literally hundreds of kinds of hot sauces and have never bought any for fear they will be too hot. I intend to try one of the milder examples next time. I really love spicy foods, but they usually don't like me back. Great video guys.
Lena is so adorable and charming! When she said that it was a whole body experience, it was transendent! Still love Clare too! I want Clare and Alex to do one of these!
Clare, please, please get Alex on a video!!
Omg imagine Alex even sniffing these he’d be in bits 🤣🤣🤣
I'm a bit surprised by how well everyone did. Ireland can be proud.
What did Claire do to her hair? It looks amazing.

Ireland should make Lena their official mascot. She's just too adorable.
Between Lena, Lolsy, and Justine… that’s a tough pick for Irish mascot
He'll, even Clisare was adorable in this one.
@@Polyphemus89 sorry it's between Justine and Ciarra

@@brianmyers4444 yeah, but Ciarra isn’t a mascot, she’d beat you in a drinking contest, stab you, then steal your wallet and kiss you on the nose just because… the three I mentioned are all adorable little fluff balls of Irish goodness
You can tell the heat from Thomas by how closely he matches his shirt.
Graeme was such a hilarious addition to this. Absolutely lovely!
This video needs a round 2 with different tryers. Would love to see others reactions to these sauces.
You mean round 3 lol this video is round 2
Graeme's voice fascinates me. Not sure what his day job is, but he could do voices for a whole range of interesting characters!
I was thinking the same thing!
I love how the dude that seemed the most concerned in the beginning ended up laughing about it the whole time 😂. I love him!
Had a dab of the Flatline at a shop in Boston this past summer on a trip. I had to sign a waiver and the guy served it on a spoon that was something like 1/8th of a teaspoon with safety glasses and surgical gloves on. That stuff is no joke. Not even 20 seconds after, it felt like I had been punched right below the sternum about a dozen times. No chance would I ever eat that again lol
I use The End dry rub spice and the V2 The End sauce frequently!! Absolutely love the flavor..
just want to say to the entire crew... thank you. i literally come here to be entertained by your pain. modern Irish gladiators
At 10:02 I had to play it 3 times, before I realised Lena said "felt like I was getting *shanked* in the mouth" - I almost blushed!
Time to go see if anyone makes Durian Hot Sauce just for Justine.
I want them to bring back the surströmming challenge again.
@@justinchristoph3725 ah, the forgotten, more disgusting brother of the durian. A man of culture I see.
Apparently they do 😭
@@Clisare it must be done. For the fans 😂

Would be cool to see reactions to a range of the spicy chocolates by Willy Pete's Chocolates. I recently found out about them and have been blown away by the flavor with a nice spice...until you get to the super hot ones, the flavor is amazing but, they do kick you in the pants for sure. As a pepper head they are by far my favorite snacks ever now!
Thomas really is a very professional Tryer. Keeps up appearances. Good man.
I saved this video to watch in on the weekend. I just knew it was going to be fun.
Honestly, Lena is one of my favourite tryers. I love her accent and her rhotacism. And her reactions are always so great!
As a hot sauce lover myself, sometimes when I watch the hot sauce videos I'll break out a few of my favourites to try along while I watch haha
This is why I enjoy watching this channel. You guys & gals all true warriors! I wouldn't get past the 1st one! 🌶🌶🌶
Awesome video guys, you should do this lineup again but using their reviews to place the hot sauces(with different tryers)
I think I was most impressed by Lena, but my god, my heart jumped every time her hands went towards her face. "Don't wipe your eyes Lena, don't wipe your eyes!"
I was thinking the whole time Sean would be saying "careful with the eyes"
Got some flatline for Christmas last year.........its still 3/4 full in my fridge
could nobody tell my man, that his head was bleeding? as a fellow head shaver, nothing is worse than going out and everyone just pretending there isn't a streak of blood. jesus, tell us, we'll be happy to clean it up, we don't want to be bleeding anymore than you want to see it.
not a shaver but agreed
Yeah it bothered me the entire video, lol.
Dab a little bit of the sauce as a styptic
Perhaps he’s taller than everyone else, and they didn’t notice? But you have a point, once they sat down it would have taken 5 minutes to pause the camera and let him know.. ah well, still enjoyed the video because everyone on this channel is awesome ✌️ although my favorites are always the booze ones 😂🤣
It WAS definitely distracting.
I went to a Pepper Palace here in the states and tried "The End" I love hot hot sauces but that one got me. But I got a cool shirt says "I survived The End Flatliner hot sauce at Pepper Palace." Great video 🤣😂🤣🔥🔥🔥
Claire and Graeme were so great together in the pizza video, so looking forward to this.
This is my first video of yours that I’ve watched and the dude in the blue on the right had me dying the whole video😂😂😂 good job guys!
Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) is the same stuff used in Law Enforcement/ Security/ Military Grade Pepper Spray (also just caused OC Spray), granted it's not as potent, but it is the direct extracted and concentrated Oils from Peppers. Y'all basically just consumed flavored Pepper Spray on that last one hahahaha!!!! (Those concentrated extracts are really supposed to be used in small portions for stuff like Chili or large batches of spicy food in general lol)
Some call OC spray a non-lethal deterrent, I call it a condiment
@@TimSailer Hahaha yessssss
Never had the chance to try the Hot Ones Challenge, but Pepper Palace came to Canada a little while ago, and I've tried the Flat Line sauce, you all are champs and handled it very well.. I enjoyed the sauce :)
I don't mess with these sauces, so I'm going with a different route here - I really like your top, Clisare.
Tysm! 🥰
wow clare's hair looks gorgeous!!!
I think we might witness the first Irish person to spontaneously combust!😆😆😆
Thank you and your holes for our entertainment. Truly heros you all are.
You guys should try the "First We Feast" hot sauce lineup.
I feckin' love Graeme. He's been such a great addition to the channel.
I did the flatline challenge at pepper palace. They give you a drop on a spoon. You just put that on your tongue. At first there isn’t much heat but this just keep climbing like the yodeling guy on the price of right climbing a mountain. You first think this isn’t bad but it keeps just getting hotter and hotter. It feels like getting a piercing with a hot cigarette but not hot enough to kill the nerves. I had my kids with me so thankfully I was able to use the full language I wanted to.
I bought The End it's only sold by the Pepper Company one shop is in Branson Mo. It's awesome. Love it.
I think a great collaboration would be to bring Sean from Hot Ones to Ireland and have the Try Channel panelists try the gauntlet!!
I do so enjoy the blow by blow descriptions!!
I've done The End Flatline. It's really no joke. And I am a certified chile head. When you try it you're supposed to sign a waiver for it. I have seen grown men double over in pain from it.
You would have to pay a year of my rent to get me to try a drop of any of that. I get a sweatty head EVERY TIME I watch y'all do this. And yet I watch and I LURVE it.
Graeme is so correct. A good flavor will ameliorate the heat somewhat.
Lena with the wink at 5:55 = adorable.
I admire the confidence of Lena stuffing the whole thing in her mouth each time. It doesn't look like she has even prepared for the possibility that she might need to spit it all out quickly to save her life either.
All I know is I love the spicy videos and I’m waiting for this years advent calendar
Fun fact - certain peppers (Trinidad Scorpion, specifically) will actually make your tongue numb to other peppers. Also, depending on how you prepare the sauce, will depend on the heat, too. Cooking hot sauces will actually make them more "milder".
Scorpion peppers are the best thing in the world!!!! I absolutely love them!!!! They're stupid hot, but have such a great flavor. Like the little sweet peppers you find at the grocery store. Super delicious!!!!
as a fan of Hot Ones .. I would love to see y'all on his show ..
This really is the best group of people, I love this channel. I also agree that Lena is a true treasure
“Shanked in the mouth.”🤣🤣
I sprinkled some cinnamon on rice pudding, and thought I was gonna die.
Watch out for that Mayo too! That shit be spicy!
that cinnamon spoon challenge that was going around awhile ago, i saw a video of a woman who kinda misunderstood the rules of the challenge, and used a kitchen spoonful; as in, not a tablespoonful but bigger, and she was spitting mouthfuls everywhere and coughing and i think it came out her nose too
@@CorvusCorone68 omfg, really? I'll have to watch that. I remember when people were doing that with Nutmeg, because if you ingest enough, you could potentially have a trip, but also get deathly sick. 😂
That would have been a great Halloween special “trick or treat hot sauce”. I can’t wait for the Christmas special!
I'm calling it now.
Time for a Try Gals Hot Challenge. Clisare and Ciara head-to-head 😄
Also, why do Paddy's wings appear so much lighter in color than all the others?
His wings are prematurely grey.
I would be up for this 🔥
Hello from Trinidad and Tobago, great vid as usual, we pronounce "dougla" as "doh-glah", its a word used to describe someone of mixed race, typically of east indian and african mix, it's not derogatory or an insult and I don't know the origin of the word, lol.
Now this is quality content! :D You guys were badass all the way, 7 mil scoville isn't a game, it burns pretty bad! Now just get the others who didn't join today to try these in the next vid :D
Best video you have posted, Love it.
When your mouth is already scorched by the first one, you're not going to feel, or probably even properly taste, anything that comes after unless you give it plenty of time to wear off. lol
Some serious pepper highs going on there at the end. Just look at their eyes darting around. Definitely some mild hallucinations, especially for Paddy, Lena and Graeme,🤣
Lena is on screen, That is good enough for me .I 'm a huge fan!! Lena is my number one!
Go go Lena!!!! ❤️
FLATLINE WAS THE BEST I've had that. And I love it... its only $30... didn't get any reaction when I tasted it...
It's tasty 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤤
The amount of times these folks keep touching their faces near & around eyes is causing me anxiety 🤣😂
I've learned a hard lesson as a toddler at a family reunion in Louisiana NEVER touch eyes
Love "the end" put it on everything. Cheese on toast being the nicest
My respects to the Irish they truly can handle their alcohol and their spicy super hot sauces!
"Oh!!, Geezus". So sweet
They need to interview them about 5 to 10 hours later. Just to see if everything is okay, in and out.
