Nice video. Last time I tried this on my CLS63 the centre bolt on the front calipers (both sides) was stuck solid and trying to get enough room to hit it from the inside whilst on a side jack was impossible without risking dropping 2 tons of car on my head. Mr Mercedes helped....although he then proceeded to try and bankrupt me for the privilege.... ;) Cheers for making the video!

Nick Colebourn did you turn the wheel to gain more access to gain leverage? And I’d suggest putting a touch of grease on them especially if you drive the car in the winter ( salt )

At least your pins were nice and easy to remove. Mine were seized in and inevitably chipped the paint on the calliper, they were absolutely ridiculous to remove. One side was nice and easy and the other side was just a nightmare.

Yes. They’re not much different other than the 63 has two piece rotors up front.

What brand of brake pads did you use? I need to replace mine

    • @Nissannx2000svg

EBC “Yellow stuff” they bite hard and don’t fade easily and low brake dust compared to stock.

@@Nissannx2000svg There's a chance you have the model number? Also you think it will fit my p31 model??
Thanks so much for your help

@@jesusalvarez9810 I bought em from parts geek. The part number I got was DP41939R. I don’t think the P31 package has larger rotors and pads
