I literally burst out crying when grandma said "he must have endured lots of pain, what a strong person he is". I am female to male trans and have been on T for just over 2 years. I'm on the waiting list for top surgery but it's like 5± years. Grandma is right, we do endure pain and we are strong, but the surgeries set us free. Love to you both ❤️

I was a teen in the 80's and had friends who were trans, but there wasn't support for them and it was very hard for them. It's beautiful to see so much love and support for people to be who they truly are and be able to live their authentic life and be themselves. Beautiful!! ❤❤❤

they actually don't need pronouns in korean, so it is just added for the english subtitles. but she definitely deserves the big hug haha!!
@@apple-qx4qi They do use pronouns in Korean, they're just not gendered.
She basically never used any gendered pronouns talking about them because korean doesn't really say "who" in the sentence. Korean mostly conveys who is being talked about in context. But I think the pronouns were added later in translation. She was really respectful though.
Well to be fair, most languages don’t gender pronouns. It’s all like “they/them”. That said, I get a good vibe from her so I think if she could speak English fluently she would respect their pronouns. Grandma OK is cool.

Smiled when y'all talked about how that one guy must have had a lot of pain before his surgery... I'm also a bigger trans guy and yeah there's both the pain of dysphoria and stuff, and like literal pain in your back, ribs etc lol
My son is also dealing with the dysphoria, having bigger breasts and hips, but I try to remind him of his big brother who also has the booty (we're talkin' Rikishi booty) and is not trans, it seems to make him feel better about that part at least. Trying to figure out how to save up for top surgery, since it is not covered and we're both struggling to just buy groceries at this point. It's gonna take awhile.

@@RandoPassingBy I absolutely feel you on that. I'm white but my parents are also transphobic and have me call them daily. I'm planning on starting once I'm financially independent. And then if they don't want to stay in contact, it'll be their decision, so at least my conservative village community won't fault me for that lmao. They'll judge the trans thing but they'll also come for my parents at least lol
I hope you'll manage to figure everything out. Regarding your family and your transition. And remember, social transition is just as valid. You don't have to take T if you don't want to change your voice and you'll still be a guy. Alternatively, maybe try voice training to keep your higher tone active if you decide on T. Good luck either way!
Never stop showing the world the struggle AND success people live through and shrive. I am cis as can be but I love to see people getting what they feel happy with. Never stop heading for your goals!

Yeah, that needs to be discussed. My daughter-in-law was somewhat afraid to admit that she didn't feel right in a female body. Why would I judge zer or feel differently about zer? She still is a parent to my 2 grandbabies and my son still loves her. I may be older(62) what it makes no nevermind to me. So what if she wants to transition to make. Not my biz. I loved her when she was a she and that love didn't disappear. I still love zer very much.
I saw the one with Miller(sp?) a while ago and it made me cry. The changes are just so dramatic in all of these people, not just the physical but you can tell by their facial expressions and how they carry themselves that they are so much more comfortable in their skin further into their transition.

i have to say thank you so much for putting together reactions like this. i've been living on another continent from my family for 6 years, partially because we don't share the same views on identity and trans/queer/gay rights-i've needed to be across an ocean to be able to have a relationship with my family-now that i'm home visiting for the holidays, i've been subject to a lot of transphobic and negative statements around this whole topic and being able to go to your channel at the end of the day and watch such beautiful reactions and hear positive, supportive words... it means the world to me. thank you so much for doing this, seriously!

As a non-binary person one of my favorite things about these transformation videos is how much more happy and confident they are after they’ve been living as their authentic self one of my sister’s best friends is a trans guy and he’s like my younger brother and I hope someday soon he’ll be able to get top surgery because I know he will be so happy

removing your breast must be so scary, i'd be worried about such a large incistion, infection risks and not to mention the scars will be visable. Praise all the surgens out there who try their very best to help people become who they are!
There are risks involved with any surgery, large or small. They're worth it if that surgery makes you happy and comfortable in your body. I'm not even a trans man but I've always hated my breasts and nipples and I plan on getting top surgery someday because I'd like to wake up, look in the mirror, and see ME for the first time. I don't care about scars, because they'll remind me of the courage and strength it took to become who I want to be!
