ummm, so far in the first 6.2 min of this video it displays how NOT to change the oil/filter on a Venza. The oil is drained first for at least 20min until it nearly stops dripping into the pan. Next will be the filter housing complete (not the drain center cap), when loosening the housing do not use a 3/8th drive extension, but rather a 1/2" drive ratchet with a 3" or 6" extension with a 1 1/16th socket to pop it loose, then drain and remove old filter, throughly clean the housing both inside and out with gas, carb cleaner, paint thinner or suitable chemical to have it clean. now reinstall the drain bolt in the oil pan, then throughly clean the internal part of where the housing goes into, next insert the new filter in the housing and prefill it with fresh oil before replacing the entire housing. Now carry on with pouring in the proper amount of oil, reset the maintenance light and you're done.
Just a heads up if this is the 4 cyl 2.7L engine you should only put 4.6 qtr. or 4.3 L. Just refer to your owners manual.
