I am not a fan of naked/super naked bikes because of the lack of wind protection at high speeds/motorway, so I'm very pleased to see that Suzuki have taken the 8S and put a sports fairing on it and tweaked it for the new version.
We are pleased too! Need to get our hands on it

I wish we were getting the black variant in the US. Although, I think the yellow we're getting fits this bike fairly well.
Just had a look at the yellow variant, absolutely love it! Wish we had that version in the UK. Fancy a trade, UK GSX-8R in black for a yellow?
I used to own 2 GSX650F and they are very good touring bikes. When Suzuki discontinued the 650 there were no other options for me. Because the Ninja 650 is to small and the Honda 650 to expensive (compared to the Suzuki).
As soon as the 8R hits de showroom floor I would like to have a testride.

Currently own a Gsx650f and because of regulations ( and the fact my wife will only let me buy one new motorcycle) i waited and waited for something to come close to the comfort and enjoyment of this bike. This Could be te one!
Looks great! Will seriously consider trading my 8S. They should have added adjusters to the suspension though...

As much as I like The Suzuki GSX-8R, I feel Suzuki should design a smaller variant, say a 300-400cc version, to fill the gap the GSX250R had. I personally need more than a 125cc but don't need a 700-1000cc bike. Come on Suzuki, please re-introduce the GSX250R with a bigger bore or a smaller GSX-4R.

Suzuki already sells Gsx250 SF in Japan, India and Thailand. That a 26 hp sports touring bike. Maybe they should introduce in EU as well. I own one and it's an amazing vehicle.
The german suzuki site lists this for 9800€
If only they've given it the golden wheels, like thte gsx1000-s has, it would have been a killer. This way, i'll have to satisfy with silver/red option, the wheels on the blue model look very cheap, as if they're raw steel.
