    Great video! I had one of these with my 128 back in the day.

      I was vert happy to get mine. I had an Okimate 120 21 pin printer and an image writter II. I missed the Okimate after selling it but the MPS fills the gap.

      The shape and color of the MPS 1250 is a great match for the C64C or 128.

    I had the MPS 1200 variant which lacked the centronics port so it only worked with Commodore Serial out of the box. I think it had a removable interface cartridge so you could swap it out with IBM Parallel and RS-232 serial. Good overall printer and yes you can still get new ribbons. Last I checked, before I sent my printer off to a friend, the ribbons were still made because the mechanism was still being used in industrial or some other sector. Cool video.

      I think you are right about the interchangeable interface. Other than that they are identical. Amazing workhorse!
