- In this video I do a an overview of the little Smallrig Wave W1-C Lav Mic, and how it performs on my Osmo Action 3 .

Very nice video. I have the SmallRig micro connected to my phone and it works great! Interested in the Osmo Action 3 and seeing it perform at the airbase is impressive. THANKS.

Bought this mic for my A4 and am not impressed.
I have to add 20db on cam just to hear it
Also a high pitched noise is recorded for approximately 20 seconds even when I reduce gain on cam to 0 .
Maybe I got a duffing?
If you could share your settings that would be great

Looks like it does what it says on the tin but your title said “pairing with DJI action 3” I didn’t see you run through the pairing!!!!
the camera mic seems better than the external 1, however the external 1 is cutting out almost all wind sound so on windy days that would be the best option.
Yeah , I have a wind cover on it now which makes life easier 👍
I wish it had dual mics but very nice also can you recommend other similar wireless mic like this for Osmo Action 3, Thanks 👍👍

I don’t think it is Joe , just tested on my 10 and it doesn’t recognise it ! It’s that bloody GoPro adapter that knackers the job .
Any gain control on the device??
How would you rate this over the RODE mic Dave? Was looking at getting the RODE but this is half the price...
sorry for late reply , I would say the rode is better quality mic but a lot more expensive as well .
