MOFFAT ROAD IN A 1966 KOMBI

VW "Kombi" Microbus on the Moffat Railroad right-of-way between Tolland, Colorado
(8,886ASL) and Winter Park, Colorado. The pictured Kombi made several trips through the "Needles Eye" tunnel and over the "Devil's Slide" trestles near the apex of Rollins Pass (a.k.a. Corona Pass), 11,660'ASL, in the 1960s. The tunnel and trestles were closed in 1990.
