@@flowerfromtf2164 But look at things like BG3, released in full with additional content added in post release patches. It's amazing what can be accomplished when a game company actually cares
What is it about the special combination of nostalgia and the Nerd that feels so comforting to watch? Is it the basement? The old games? The frustration we share at the old school difficulty? Whatever it is, here's to another year of it!
I am so thankful that James has continued AVGN and Cinemassacre and everything they create. From all of us here who have been there since the beginning, thank you.
My favorite AVGN moment of the year was the Nerd beating up the leftover Santa from the Final Fantasy 6 video in Goonies 2 But the Glitch Gremlin and his wife gifting the Nerd the Viewtiful Joe 2 PS2 demo disc was an amazing second place
This was a great year for AVGN, like just when I think you couldn’t possibly keep this series fresh you come out with these masterpieces! I hope you, your family, and your friends have a wonderful new year!
One of my best moment has been a video game musical concert in my city in march. The french musicians played a version of Fzero with classical instruments and electric bass.
I did like the creativity in the Noir episode too - I could feel you having fun with that, and I enjoy when I can tell you're getting to do some idea you wanted to do
Almost everything in your My Horse Prince video was gold. So that whole episode is my favorite AVGN moment of the year. Also have you seen Nosferatu after the AVGN episode for that game? It's an amazing remake.
For the alphabet seen in the blaster Master review I'm just impressed you managed to find a power up with every single letter on the alphabet throughout all these retro games
that was awsome video james, i'm glad you had some episodes of avgn you enjoyed doing as much as we all enjoy watching them, keep them coming they just keep getting better and better.
"Hey James, it would be awesome if you did an episode about your favorite war movie! Not a historical analysis (since plenty of UA-camrs already do that), but maybe talk about how those films influenced you as a filmmaker. It’d be really interesting to hear what you admire about them and how they’ve shaped your creative process. Just an idea-keep up the amazing work!"
James, I'm going to be honest with you. I've been a fan of yours since i was 16 back in 2007. I'm now 33. you are and forever will be the G.O.A.T. when it comes to video game reviewers. keep it up.
For some reason I forgot some of these were this years lol. I remember watching them, like the Horse game and Sim City, but I forgot they were this year, lol.
I've always appreciated your many creative lighting methods, stemming all the way back to the early seasons. From then to now you always filmed with specific purpose in how the lighting for scenes should look, as explained in the 'Making of an AVGN episode' wayyy back in 2011. I agree, you should give yourself more credit for the amazing skills and especially for all the entertainment you've given us these last 20 years! Deja Vu was my favourite episode of 2024. Keep it going!
Thank you James for all these years. Please keep em coming. Been following since 2006 and the Simon's Quest video. You are the original greatest UA-cam creator for me.
hoping for 2025 to have more passionate/childhood games come back for avgn and maybe some more camera angles, the nerd room is the most beautiful thing ever and we never get to see it again
Thanks, man, for giving YOUR top 10, and not so much the top 10 'most watched' or 10 'most liked'. So much better hearing it from the perspective of the creator himself!
As a massive Film Noir fan I loved the Deja Vu episode. You can see your knowledge of the genre and attention to detail shining through (pun intended). The mood of the cinematography was perfect.
My favorite thing is that you still enjoy making these amazing videos. Thank you for keeping me going all these years.
I joined the family a little late (2012-3), but no doubt Cinemassacre is part of my existence too. Thank you James!! Keep it up man!
I don’t think he does enjoy it anymore. It’s unfortunate. U must be a very casual fan to not notice the decline
Been watching since the GameTrailers days, downloading the videos to a PSP.
This was the 20th Anniversary of The Nerd.
Special Thanks To Kyle, Mike, And The OG Nerd Cast.❤
Glad someone remembered

The Glitch Gremlin was such a welcoming return. He proved that glitches in even the newest of video games can still be hilarious.
especially with the "release now patch later" attitude

The Glitch Gremlin was the unespected return that everyone wanted! So much love for you James, it's nice hearing you focused on multiple projects.
My favorite 2024 moment is the A,B,C. “It’s all you have to do” 😂😂

John as AI Man is just wonderful
AVGN is the best thing about the internet. Hope you'll make these for another 20.
James is such a nice guy.
The juxtaposition between him and the nerd is so funny to me
We love you james. Have a happy new year!
I enjoyed the SimCity episode

James, I am truly grateful for your content throughout the years. Thanks for another sick year of cinemassacre vids. Looking forward to the new year.
Love you avgn! Merry new years buddy!
Honestly the best part is that you still keep coming out with contact for us fans.
Nerd has to do a 20 Year Special Episode. An hour length would suffice. 😅
That would be wonderful! Even if he has to release it in a couple different parts. Like the 200th Episode he did. I had no issue with him doing that.
But this is Goonies 2
Hatoful boyfriend is cool 😎
The return of the Glitch Gremlin was a struck of genius. The best character of the AVGN show.
I prefer guitar guy who lives behind the couch, but Gremlin is a close second.
@@killingragethrowbackthe guitar guy is Kyle Justin and he probably isn’t returning anytime soon as he left cinemassacre.
@@wyattstudios21 Yes, I just meant that he was my favorite recurring character.

That Castlevania IV end theme has had a place in my memories since the 90's
thanks for all the years of entertainment nerd it's been a great long ride
My favorite moment of 2024 is James coming to terms with male baldness and not proactively hiding it as much. Welcome to the club nerd.
Thank you for everything all these years, James! Hope you have an amazing New Year!!
Fantastic work all throughout, James and everybody behind the scenes. You knocked 2024 out of the park, and here's to a new year of Cinemassacre! 🍷❤
just became a member! Love everything you do!
Love to hear background on episodes. Wish we’d get more of that!
Thank you, James for another amazing year of laughs. Look forward to seeing what you have in store for us in 2025.

After 20 years AVGN is still strong! Thank you James for all these years of entertainment.
Thanks for bringing Kevin back as the Glitch Gremlin! Been waiting for his return for 10 years!
You should make an episode about the Blaster Master Zero trilogy!!!
Cant believe its another year.
Is that a mortal kombat hat? Nice

Love you AVGN. I gotta ask, though...how much did you smoke before recording that intro? 😂😂
Wow impressive - we have had 20 years of the Nerd, with a regular show from 2007-2025 and still going strong!
Best wishes.
Seeing the Glitch Gremlin return was amazing!
I have been feeling low for a couple of days and seeing this and seeing you still enjoy making videos after all these years made my day.

I was high AF and when he hit into the " YOU DIDN'T KNOW".....laughed so hard I started gagging 😂😂😂 Thanks Nerd!
You should incorporate the cinemassacre logo into the avgn it would be hilarious
He did that for Alien 3.

Thanks for another great year, can't wait to see what comes in 2025
My favorite Avgn video is the one where spider man is playing video games of himself and he knocks out those games
That is one of the oldest episodes. I love that episode too. Must have watched it about 50 times by nos.
The Upper Decker episode was amazing too
Thank you for all the laughs 😊
I have no idea how i missed the Deja Vu episode. Loved that game. Definitely watching it next. Here's to a new year of AVGN and Cinemassacre🎉
