Why are modern religions so prevelant? Not just Christianity. It's evolution. As with everything, change always happen and everything evolves. In each change the creators of religion change religion to fit the fears and desires of humanity. Originally it was fear of death, starvation and disease. As humaniy progressed into more complicated forms of living, religion had to change. Why is Zeus no longer popular? What Zeus is and does matters little to modern humans. Modern religions are designed to be desirable to modern humans. Fears. Desires. Self hate. Anger. Love. It has nothing to do with facts or evidence. It's just people selling a product to the masses. Like car manufacturers advertising their products not as cars but feelings. Religion is no different. And popularity is no indicator of truth. Ask anyone who has been to high school. A popular lie is still a lie. Just because schiesters sold a bad product to a lot of people doesn't mean it's a good product..
I think you need to study Judaism a little bit more. You do well on the Christian part, but not so well on the Judaism part. Hell is no part of the original Jewish faith. Hell is no place in the Torah. I think you’re mixing Christianity and Judaism. There are no gods who fight the supreme deity in the original Hebrew faith. Now, “Hellenistic” Judaism did spurn from all of these religions, but Helllenistic thought wasn’t originally part of the faith.
@@kellydavid7408 It appears naturally, just like love and compassion before the word Christianity it originated in the 1st century CE in Judea (modern-day Israel/Palestine), emerging from Judaism. It centers around the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, whom Christians believe to be the Messiah (Christ) and the Son of God. Early followers of Jesus spread his message, forming communities that eventually became known as Christians. Over time, Christianity grew and spread throughout the Roman Empire and beyond, developing into a distinct religion with its own scriptures (the New Testament) and traditions.

i left more of a christian than when you started, partly because i believed you and partly because i couldn’t, and i’m not even a christian. it was roswell that sunk you. there’s other evidence you aren’t accepting or including in your conclusion about roswell, likewise christianity and christ. yes, i believe he was anointed by God and his pre existence was at the right hand of God. some of us remember our pre existence. good luck with your personal salvation. 🤍💭 david

well said. He needs to better distinguish between Hellenistic Jews, and Torah Judaism, instead of lumping them together.
Ammon Hillman (Lady Babylon on youtube) can tell you exactly where christianity came from.

That is a seminarian view. Bravo.
Why was jesus arrested in a public park at 4 am with a naked boy? Mark 14:51 - 52.
