  • Welcome back to In The Kitchen With The Dietitian! Today we are going to take a look in my freezer. I have since added about 6 lbs of cooked chicken breast broken up into individual servings and two boxes of cooked whole wheat flour pasta, also broken into individual servings. I mention the Dietary Guidelines for alcohol consumption, first if you don’t drink alcohol don’t start, but if you do, I offer what the current guidelines are. The calories in alcohol are EMPTY and if you are trying to lose weight I always recommend not “drinking” your calories. However, if you are at your goal weight, a glass of wine now and then will not derail you. Moderation is key.
