    I like it how 1st clarinet is all calm and has just all whole notes and some half notes, then like half way througH OH WELP YOU'RE PLAYING FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLE BEE, then it just goes back to whole notes and acts like nothing just happened

    Found this messing around on jw pepper. sent it to my band director for spring concert suggestions. Told me we had it. Played it for the class. Everyone jumped up and screamed. Needless to say we rocked this one.

    We are playing this for honor's band and I'm excited. I'm also terrified because I'm a flute
    Edit: one year later and we're playing this for regular band. It's no longer hard and I can do the sixteenth notes with ease :)

      I try the 16th note run on clarinet whenever I get bored and have nothing to do. I know its just a chromatic run going up and down but my brain gets jumbled and I forget if you're going up or down the chromatic

      I did it on Flute it wasn't that bad and I'm a student been playing this like 3 years ago and it sounded pretty good (I recorder myself)

      ​​​@@Lei-I tried it on clarinet before and no matter what, the fingerings are too weird. Flute fingerings for A Ab G F# and F are easier to go back and forth from

      TyRhey Jones mallets part is fun though, especially after the chromatic part having to switch to bells in between 1 beat

    I’m playing this exact arrangement in my band class and I have the Clarinet 1 part. Which stinks because the chromatic passage at measures 49 and 50 is so fast and hard.

      Probably just so it doesn't get too repetitive, we once had a piece that was the exact same tune for 20 measures and some audience members actually got up and left the building.
