- As I continue to learn campfire cooking in the dutch oven I dive into a classic dish, chicken
Cordon Blue. Not an over challenging dish to prepare but one that I really love to eat.
After watching several other UA-camrs prepare this dish in their own unique style I made the decision to do the dish in my own unique way and ad something that I have always felt was missing, a little southwest flair.
Join me as I create for the very first time Chicken Cordon Blue Texas Style in the dutch oven using charcoal.
Spoiler alert! It turned out GREAT!
My very first RV cooking video was Cordon Bleu with a Texas twist.... I never told you about it or posted it because it was too dark and no matter how much I tried I just couldn't brighten it up enough. A freaking mind reader! I could almost smell it as you pulled it out the cooker! Now I'm hungry! I highly recommend tooth picks over the string but remember to take them out before serving.
see, hanging out to late hours burning wood and a little cold beer can really make some thing happen! As you know we are stuck in an inbetween conditon with half of our stuff in storage and living with the other half while we sort out the leaking water situation. We will overcome!
