- This is the third episode of my "Science Behind Your Jiu Jitsu" series and this episode focuses on Frames and Inertia.
It is important to understand the terminology, biology, and physics behind our jiu jitsu techniques. This is a deep dive into the science behind these techniques so you can better understand why you do a "technique" and particular way, and this understanding will help you be a better instructor.
This is the type of video I always wanted to see when I was a beginner in my BJJ journey, I enjoyed making it and I hope you can learn something from this. Any constructive feedback is appreciated, I apologize for the poor audio in the beginning.

Best video on UA-cam for understanding the dynamics of Jiu Jitsu. Please make more content like this for different positions

I always thought you were supposed to just fall if your opponent caught your leg if you stood up during sweeps 😵😵
Cheers from Morocco. Is there a practical way, such as drills, to incorporate these theories into one's training and game plan?
To consciously think about the concepts as you drill technique, and hopefully correct techniques that actually follow proper concepts. Finding online material or an instructor who teaches material this way is crucial.
Congrats on the videos! It's martial science, not martial art 😁
I think I will just stick with Gracie Combatives...
So ''frames'' is a new fancy name for BJJ levers and defensive tactics?
Frames are not levers, and are a critical part of offense and defense.
