We reunited a mother FOX with her babies!

- During our busy 'orphan season' we will take hundreds of calls about sick, injured or orphaned fox cubs (also called kits and pups) and, whilst some will have to stay under our care, we make every effort to get them back home whenever possible.
For these five youngsters, the patience of James, one of our volunteers, made this miracle come true, with all five returning home to their mother!

Thankyou, I think we have a fox near by, City, but near railroad area, and nature bike trail. Lost of Rabbits, feral cats, possums. Heard a Fox in Jan. calling. We have many homes with open porches with ample area to find a place to have young underneath. Lucky majority of renters, are oblivious, come and go. and not a lot of any back yard netting, or garden string traps. Think most females have their young under porches, where it is dry, and due to cracks in walls, basements leak the warm heat in many. I have known a few where a fox has had her cubs. Seen them on my walk at night. But when temps are a more steady 50* degrees, she finds a more suitable place. Traffic is not heavy at night. i do not tell people they have a fox, silence is perhaps better.
