@@anthonygill3261 for me personally, I preferred using lighter dumbbells for speed and resistance, but with mayweather, he uses heavies on purpose to condition and fight through the pain and to simulate what it’s like to fight continuously. This is a man who has on many occasions sparred 20 minutes for 1 round in the “dog house”. Everything for him in boxing is like a last man standing type of thing, so he trains to the extreme to simulate that.

1.5kg small dumbells are honestly optimal and as long as u already got good shoulder muscle fibres very useful and usually never injury as long as you warm up and limit yourself
Never been a fan of dumbbell at all shadow boxing just egg weights, these however with be some extra to get in on the last day of training for extra work. Gotta give myself something more to recover from on rest days 😂

Not true brah been doing these for years. Helps a lot with rear delta that generate snap back. Helps a lot with core to. Balancing while punching with dumbbells also helps coordination.

renegade rows and lunges with a knee raise are pointless. They're both just a combination of 2 exercises that are better done separately. there's no benefit in combining them into one exercise.

Stretching doesn't help with pain, it's better you see a pt, if you want to do something by yourself, it's better to strengthen the shoulders with weight you can handle going through the entire range of motion
If the pain is in your shoulder it doesn't necessarily mean the problem is in your shoulder , it could be in your trap , your neck a nerve could be getting pinched elsewhere and you feel it most in your shoulder , just speaking from experience 👍
Ben Patrick posted a video about very good exercises. I dislocated my shoulder last year and now I am stronger than before in Mainy exercises with his shoulder training program

It depends. Some can handle heavy dumbbell shadow boxing and some can’t. Heavy dumbbell shadow boxing is what conditioned Mayweathers shoulders.

I do 10 pound dumbells and have gotten great results. My hands come out with minimum effort. You just gotta push through

Shadow boxing with weights does work just take 2.5 pound plates and put your thumbs through the hole they are perfect and they don't kill your form.

Never go over 2 pound . salt shakers build up endurance also.

Not with 10lb dumbells it's not. 2-5 lbs weights is fine when done within the proper format.
You can rotate the dumbbells in a circular motion to build tricep strength. Similar motion to a speed bag but low not high, near your chest.

What stretches for shoulder pain from boxing
Stretching doesn't help with pain, it's better you see a pt, if you want to do something by yourself, it's better to strengthen the shoulders with weight you can handle going through the entire range of motion

I recommend doing straight one two's with tiny weights. It conditions your shoulders and helps 'screwing' your wrist at full extension
