- This video discusses some preventative maintenance tips for KTM, Husqvarna, and Gas Gas TPI 2-Stroke Fuel injected motorcycles. I will also demonstrates how to use the oil pump priming process on TPI bikes to measure oil pump output. This is an extremely effective way to know the health of your oil pump and keeping your TPI running at its best.

Hi, i have 2021 KTM - Tpi 250 Exc, the diagnose connector is red and under my seat. I have used the red and black dongle to prime the oil pump but i could not managed to trigger the system. The code of my dongle is 000700000PA001.
I tried starting from 5 seconds to 2 minute periods (everytime i increased duration 5 seconds up to 2 minute) I tired 24 times:) but not working as in your video. First i am pulling the throttle fully, than connect the dongle and release throttle after 5 sec....to 2 mins. Any advice?
my ktm six days 2022, after i follow prime priocedure, pump still not prime and no response, elctrical after check is good, can you have experience like me or solution tks bro

Or better do the injection relocator and mix your own 2stroke to the fuel

@@Motoinc I did it to mine with the pinit racing kit. I did like it until it started making the bike run terrible on occasion. Just switched back to tpi
@@KoltFin Oo ok, my friend has the ATHENA relocator kit...he loves it because now he mix the oil in the fuel. He said I will never go back because he have a sense of insurance. That's what he said to me.

Better change brand....or buy a second gen of the bike you want...this brand is only using its costumer for testing....and you doing it willingly.....never get why....
I did change brands, and they were horrible, came back to KTM and ever since I've been super happy. Ever notice how all of the dirt bike rental companies also use KTM? Because KTM holds up WAY better than any other brand, they handle better and have a MUCH better resale value.
@@onthethrottle7104 I went from KTM to KX and now yzf....much happier...in 4 years never had to "fix" anything...just piston changes
@@Motoinc Kawasaki doesnt even have enduro bike and yamaha has mx bike just a bit tuned for enduro. In enduro ktm is by far most developed bike

Add it to the list of junk on a KTM that goes shithouse, or by a Beta and be happy.
