Another great video, just done it myself & fed up with garages over filling ! I flushed the old oil with a bit of fresh oil & replaced the oil with 3.75 liters & spot on, Air filter is a nightmare & I will leave the fuel filter for next time ! Thanks
Have you ever had a DV6 oil filter element stay in the filter housing rather than secured into the lid? Mine was like this today, and I'm fairly certain the new oil 'leak' is oil that fell into the bell housing finding its way out (I'm hoping as it looks like the hole for the slave is right beneath the housing)!
Very informative filming but with this newer version of fuel filter housing, could you tell me how you primed it after fitting the new filter? It wasn't apparent in the video unless priming happens electronically. Thank you.
Was wanting to ask the very same question. With a how to video, you need all the details really. I saw a similar video and they hand pump out the old diesel from the housing. Clean the top cap with carb cleaner. Fit the new seal to the top cap . Then fit the new filter. Then pour in fresh diesel and fill up the filter housing right to the top. Then screw on the top cap until the plastic tabs come together. Refit connectors etc. I hope this helps anyway.
I’ve just been sold shell helix ultra 5w40 oil for mine after initially wanting to buy 5w30 but he said it was the wrong oil for a 2008 mk2 B9 partner van. Is there a difference?
Another fantastic informative video ! Interesting tip, pouring a small amount of oil though to remove the old remaining oil in the sump before reconnecting the sump plug & refilling with new oil ! You you recommend oil flushes ?

Some handy tips its easier watching you than trying to read a haynes manual, good advice on the tools as well 👍
Glad it helped

You you recommend oil flushes ?
Happened me too did you use the 5w-40 I've had no choice . I didn't realise until I had started the process of changing the oil
Think 0-30 oil is better option for the euro 6 vans, not that the one you used is a problem.
Our garage got told to use 5-30 c2 by peougeot as 0-30 will burn quicker and also seems to congeal
@Aidan-LM02 get a new mechanic, the latest model is 0-20 failure to comply will result in a sludged up engine or a snapped cam chain
Very helpful video. thanks for sharing tips.
Good video mate 👍
Nice tool for the sump plug👍 but I thought old engine oil was Man Moisturiser
Keep getting comments why I don't wear gloves and that it's carcinogenic

5W-30 is wrong oil on these engines , you need to use 0W-30 ACEA C2 PSA B71-2312 specific certification
Is this true?

5w40 total oil
The new ones 0w30 but peougeot said to us to put 5w30 c2 in

Apparently updated now psa recommend 0w20
