Wow! When you dug that pig up I recognized it right away! I dug the same one but in blue sponge ware. I had not seen another one like it until now. Congrats!
Cool pig! Those flame top ground lids you were finding are from a canister set which is why you found multiples of them. They came in varying heights but they took the same size lids. They'll glow. Mine do anyway. The base is a princess feather pattern, probably a lamp base that took a brass collar that held the font.
Thats one wet pit lol..congrats on the whiskey pig !! Those candy dish lids , are the ground on the outer edge of the lip ? If so they were off Dakota jars , used for apothecaries as well as candies and confections..nice lids bro !!
I like to think what the people who were using these outhouses would think if someone told them in 130 years, people all over the world are going to watch a couple dudes dig through their shit in beautiful high definition on a pocket computer that has every answer to every question and so much more. Makes ya wonder what we're going to be doing 130 years from now
Love the pig!
Thanks!

Right! I think that all the time
We’re not gonna be doing anything 😂
@@Jimbo-et5jb yeah that's true lol. Our species will probably be gone by then anyway after we nuke ourselves into history
I love the pig whiskey are you going to auction it ? Thanks for sharing ♥️♥️♥️♥️⚒️🇺🇸🗝️
Thanks Mary! Its actually already sold
OMG mate that whiskey Pig is a snorter : ) it looks early, what era you think its from ?
Thanks man! First and possibly last I’ll ever dig. I’d say 1890s
Thanks for the new content!
I think the metal object is a clock base. Whats the deal with the whisky pig? Never heard of that
It definitely is a clock base for sure, it’s a figural whiskey that they put whiskey in. Some think it’s an ink but most have said whiskey
Sure would be nice to see the bottles you keep handing off
Shawn a Steelers fan ? Annie is too lol
Yea I’m pretty sure he is
Naw...that's not a whiskey pig. It's an antique CHIA PET!! I know because I had both a cow chia and a clown. The ridges are to grab the chia seeds.
It does resemble a chi😂
@@thetimetravelers3112We need to see it cleaned, though...
Another pig i know a guy that owns one just like it.
The lucky man gets the pig!!!
With a little help of a great friend thank you willy wonka.
Base of a punch bowl
Yea something like that lol
The way real whiskey pigs are identified is the people in the factory all signed and second the spout is out the rear end.
Antiques roadshow.
You'd be surprised that some folks made them DIFFERENTLY , which was their "personal signature" on a specific bottle..
It's a old chia pet. You water through the top . They started in the 50s. Maybe 40s
WTH are you referring to ? lmao 😂
The pit was 1890s to about 1905. You never know tho, get you a flux capacitor and a car that goes 88 mph anything is possible
I made a joke about that also.
