The openable mod is now useless because BeamNG itself added it.
I like the fact that the devs eventually ad some of these into the game like the the openable
Years ago I requested variable windshield breaking! glad to see it as a mod and hope it gets implemented officially

Brake glow isn't in game, i have the latest version and i still need the mod

The winches, and the windshield look like good mods. Not sure if the headlights look like that now or not.
The openable mod has been added recently in Beam,it works for some cars!

@@towtruckoperatormine wont work i done everything correctly and all the mods even the outdated ones are installed and set up but when trying to open a door u can see it slightly move but nothing actually works as intended and the games standard one opens everything not just one particular is there any way to just open one door or part and is there a way to make this mod work or one exactly like it?
I see most of these implemented into beam. Besides the camera, i don't even get motion sick but i felt my head hurt lol
I'm commenting recently and I want to tell you that the game already has it all. All vehicles open and close doors, hoods and trunks. Also saying that they made a remake of some vehicles, such as the Ibishu Covet car, the Gravril T-Series truck, etc.
We need a mod where when you crash. You can actually get scratches and maybe a mod where you crash. And some parts can split into pieces. Like you crash until like a certain barrier. And your whole front end would be really scratched up. And maybe your friend would be crack in your bump road. Be split into 2 pieces, have you nice? To have
whats the point when beamng is supposed to be a realistic crash game, ur simply telling them to go back to gta 5 styled crashes?

Well the only useful ones nowadays are both winch mods, windshield and headlights. Everything else is on the game.
Some of those are awesome and I can see them definitely being a feature in the future like the openable mod is right now!

The openable mod is still needed for your modded cars. But it is useless for vanilla Beamng vehicles.
A lot of these mods are quite unneeded now
I think the only useful one I would use is the interior cam mod and maybe the headlight mod
I don't always a regular noted BMG drive that's in the regular game

you dont need the better first person cam i fixed it and made it better by making the fov higher in the camera section of settings

Headlights is the absolute must have
Other ones are not that useful or great to use
For instance, the windshield mod isn't compatible with custom windshield textures
Also, the glowing brakes mod is also not that great, I think it's not complete enough for now...
Of course openable became useless, and the backfire mod is also a bit unrealistic because it makes every car backfire at all times lol.
If you're adding skin packs, let's also add the ken block lore pack for racing purposes lol
Other than that, it was actually a great list when that video came out!

It is unrealistic for the backfire to be on every car, real life cars like the toyota camry (default) doesn't do any backfires. Backfires are only on exhausts close to race exhausts.
