Oh no, the issue with fruits is that if you get one that tastes super good when you travel to a place where the fruit actually grows, the ones in your home town will taste awful. I had a banana and orange years ago in Florida and I hate oranges and bananas now
it truly made me realize how spoiled I am for living in the US and just always having fresh, ripe fruit. especially in the summer time when a lot it is in season and locally grown around me in the midwest

Hopefully you can retry these fruits as you travel and will find you like them more! This was a fun video to watch 😁
it’s so magical to me that you don’t even like watermelon after the entire debacle of the pink cake jam… all those trials and tribulations and melted bowls just for a fruit you think is D-tier… kind of poetic amen
Grapefruit is typically eaten sprinkled with sugar if you are eating it raw with a spoon like that, makes it much tastier. Same way you'd add sugar to the juice to make it good
I love to eat grapefruit raw. My favourite fruit, actually. Adding sugar to everything is just wrong imo. it changes the flavour and it doesn't taste authentic

If trying for the first time, it's better to cut it up and put it into a bowl lol. Especially if you have sensory issues. I hate the juice getting all over my hands and down my chin.
PJ's fruit tier list is actually so wild, I don't understand many of his decision but I do understand his dislike of cantaloupe and papaya lmao I felt vindicated at his disgust XD The many comments saying that these fruits aren't ripe is so funny, oh PJ a few days out in the open and your experience would have been completely different

Great video Pj and i commend you for trying fruit for the first time!🎉 I reccomend retrying mangoes, especially filipino mangoes 🥭 with yellow skin. Its the sweetest! Green skin indicates its unripe. Peak season is summer. Also, the method for cutting a mango is to cut along the center flat seed vertically down on both sides. So you have two faces and a seed. Since you like kiwis, you may also enjoy golden kiwis, as i find it more sweeter.
PJ, we're all very proud of you for trying new fruit but im begging you, take an asian grandma to the store with you next time. they will show you how to pick the ripest fruit and also the most efficient way to cut the fruit!
as a mango enthusiast, that mango is FAR from ripe. it should be completely orange with little brown dots on the outside! and the inside shouldn't be so stuck to the seed
The fact that you're not a big fan of pears gives me delirious levels of vindication - I have NEVER liked them, and everyone always thinks I'm weird for it
