- This is the EASIEST way to parallel park. The driver is given exact reference points, according to which he/she can turn the steering wheel at the RIGHT moment and park the car. Please note that this method of parking is only suitable for short parking spaces
Tutorial for the right-side traffic is here:

this is the best parallel park video ive seen!
Is this a vehicle with the driver on the left side... just need to know since the reference points are the same as a right side parallel Park.
If you park on the other side the road, the first reference point (step 1) will be the middle of the rear passenger window (not the triangle window any more). This difference occurs because the driver's seat is not located in the middle of the car and you see the reference points on the left and on the right from different angles.
Took my test today and passed this guide was very helpful
i have watched many parallel parking vidoes on youtube but this one was the best video ever!!
It's been years but this is how I learned it. Thank you so much, if I hadn't said so then.
So, you make as many rotations as you can to the left, then turn the steering wheel straight and finally steer as many rotations as you can to the right. This is what was meant by turning the steering wheel 3 times.
This is the best video i have seen, explains everything in detail!
a very scientific and confident way of parallel parking in the minimum parking space... thank you
This wonderful video explains the meaning behind every maneuver clearly!
Thanks for a very clear, systematic direction(s) for parallel parking!
Good way I use it and it works for any car I have ever been driving. But I have one notice here. I don't drive forward after parking why? Because if there are no lines on the road people park different. And if somebody parks closer behind us, we don't have enough place to drive away. That's especially for tight parking places in crowded streets. And the method is good even for a parking gap only about 60-70 cm longer than your car:) (or 50-40 if you have a towing hook).
Great tutorial. Can't wait to try it.
wow, best technical explanation for parallel parking. Thanks.
Thanks for this. It helped me pass my test. Great video
I'm taking my practical driving test next week and parallel parking is my biggest concern! hopefully i'll get it right, this video really helped me understand more.
did you do it?
Good lessons for new ones drivers , thanks cer !
i've practiced this particular method and it worked for me! yay
The best lesson on You Tube! ;-)
Thank you very much! :-)
I learned from this the day before my drivers test and when i did it on the drivers test I did it perfect. lol
this is actually pretty good
Thank you so much, all in all, it is a very detailed and helpful instruction
This was really helpful, thanks :)
Great vid..
Excellent video.A few suggestions:.Not all steerings have design in which the straight or left or right positions can be identified. One post has this helpful hint: one complete turn of the steering to the left (towards the kerb), two complete turns to the right (away from the kerb) and one complete turn back left (towards the kerb). Exact reference points, eg.'the rear right hand corner of the car' to the left, rather than just 'back of the car.' For learner, every micro step can be confusing.
very very good video, excellent tutorial, I really liked it
Thank you, very helpful!
This helps so much; thank you! I was wondering if you have or know of videos which explain how to back out of a driveway step by step (steering, pedals, etc) and on to the road. I've looked all over youtube, but I can't find a video.
Thanks a lot. This has helped me
The driving test in Hong Kong is hard but absolutely rubbish. I just learnt a little about parking after taking the test. We are allowed to have all sorts of indicators as to when to turn and that on the car. There are even marks on the roads that were left by some driving schools. It's a total different thing when it comes in practice. As soon as I moved to Australia and started driving I really found that I had literally no knowledge in parking and so on.
By the way this video is great thanks
This is extremely helpful.Thank you so much1 :)
This is lovely. Thanks

Thanks for sharing this video.
Thank s for the tutorial.
wow what a great job to inform .informative video keep it up.
Thanks ,this very easy for me now .
Great stuff. How close should you be to the other vehicle at step 1
Wow it even explains why. That makes it more apprehensible.
Excellent!
another cool video form your channel.. try to keep it up.. thanks...
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that American spelling differs from British. We used British English and do not consider it to be incorrect. Hope for understanding from American English speakers.
if you read the description, it show how to do it for right side car.
more like a mirror view actually.
owe you for this
@portersbabe One turn left, one right (that brings your wheel back straight), then one more right. You may need to do a full lock on your last turn, but not usually.
nice video. i like it.
Trick question: What happens if there was no car in front or behind you? How do you park then?
Answer: Wait for another car to come by lol....
These people posting up videos should seriously answer the viewers questions.
Really pisses me off when they don't
epiphany .. if you don't have to park in between two cars...i don't really think there is any challenge to it..
Sudipto Majumdar
You missed the joke.
epiphany ..was there one??..didn't sound like it...
The joke is this:
Can this technique be employed without any cars around? if you ask some people, they actually pause and think for a long time cos in their minds, they actually visualise employing this technique in an empty lot and have a hard time doing so.
It's sort of a trick question really. Try it out on your gf. You will LOL I believe.
@malavikasingji You're welcome! I had a good instructor.
Excellent
Thank you.
very informative.tnx
Thank u soooooooo much Sir
VERY HELPFULL
@malavikasingji I was told to remember "loves red roses", for left, right, right.

kassyjohn1 r u passed test??
zaha mustafa yes i did but i got 12 wrong 😥... i got a difficult lady with anger issues at 3:30 lol
Than you ..but I would like to know What is the distance between your car and the parked car ?
@portersbabe That's an easy and interesting phrase to remember - thanks!
Very good
Good mate
In my driving test there is no car behind you so its still hard to figure when to start turning the other way
Best way is called the "1-2-1" when the car is level steer 1 whole left keep reversing till u see no curb on left mirror then 2 steer right till cr straight then 1 left to make straight
3/4 turn the wheel to the left than full lock to the right work every time
I did this right on accident in my test
I like it :D
superb
license test tomorrow lets hope to god this works
I am really looking for tutorials to help me pass the driving exam soon.
Best videos
Great..
so its one right then straighten up den left?
I purchased this and is there UK version to download please.
When it says turn the wheel 3 times, does it means three complete rotation ?
I learn the other method one right , two to left and one right and then drive up alittle bit and park.
awsome
May I have the link of your new web-page?
Thanks!
good
instead of looking in the drivers mirror , i look at the passengers mirror , keep reversing until i can't see any curb and the start turning to straighten myself . hope this helps 😉
StRiKd101 what do u do if u have to practice with cones and there's no curb
ok what if there isn't a car behind in step 2??? How do you know when to turn????
My steering wheel rotates only two times and unable to turn 3 times. What will I do...
great tutorial but is it one turn or full lock to the left for the first step?
eddie c me to thought it full lock to the left then one and half turns to the right I think.
the way i do it as soon as you start reversing turn half a wheel only ur car will start turning into the v shape you need once you have the v and close to the curb sterr quicjkly one full lock to the left until u see the curb come parrael then two turns back to the right to straighten then tyres tarmac as you learn hopes this helps
That would only work on right sided steering wheel cars. In other cars it doesn't work cause you can't see through the triangle on the left side.
you didn't understand his question, he's asking about the location of the steering wheel in the car, not the side of the road
where you can find free video completed important information? tell me please .
I wish this was voiceover 😢
I'm 25 years and so Badly want my P's since on my L's since 16 But suck at paraellel parking and Reverse Also its expensive to go for test.
ShadowAussie101 Have you gone for your p test yet? Appartally they don't always test you on it,up to the instructor on the day
ShadowAussie101
does this work for cars where the driver seat is on the left side of the car? Because this vid looks like its for drivers that sit on the right side
u should look for a video of Muricano accent.
i dont think u can do step 2 in tight place when u want to parallel parking it wont work
pff In my coutry you don't have a rear car to avoid accidents, but when you park you have to imagine there is, this makes it very difficult to use this tutorial :s
what does paraell mean
the "rear wheels" man the back wheels of the car...
It's a shame thumbs up for user comments are blocked here (I pretty much ignored the comment at the second sentence).
and what does rear wheels mean??????????
i would not park between an alfa 156 and an audi tt 😂
*It's
im learning how to drive chill.
lol made it look so easy 😅😅😅😅🚘🚘🚘
