When is the best time or month to come fish for wiper. Planning to come down there but dont know when the best time.

Hit and miss, but best time probably between May and June. Best if you have a boat so it's easier to search for they.

What were you using for bait when you almost caught that big one?

Can't remember, but I've been using soft plastics as well as hair jigs. If you watch carefully you'll see what I used.

What reel size and line lb you guys used?

I believe I have 50# braided with a 10# lead. The reel is a size 2000.

If you let your lure drag on the bottom, likely it'll get stuck.
