Got a 2022 Street Bob. All I changed were the handlebars, went to the Soft tail Slim ones. Much better! An did minor performance work. A tune, and a 2 brothers two into one exaust. Goes like a runaway freight train!
I USED to ride an 2006 Harley Davidson Night Rod. I loved the bike (not so much the riding position), however it made most of its power in the higher RPMs, and I'm used to shifting between 2k-3k RPM so I never got the real power out of it. Long story short, the Night Rod got sold and I went about 8 years without riding a bike, until I got the urge again to ride. I retook the riding course on like a 250cc Honda something. Got my license and decided to go test ride some bikes with my dad (who also rides). I had my eye on the Low Rider ST (with the 117cu" engine). Then I realized I had only ever ridden 2 different bikes in my life, that 250cc Honda and the Night Rod over 8 years previously. So I decided to try out some other bikes, mainly the 107cu" Soft-tail Standard, the 114cu" Street Bob and the 117cu" Low Rider ST. I started on the 107, thinking it would probably be tame and was in the ball park of what I was used to....NOOOPE lol. Almost fell off the bike when I let out on the clutch lol. I adapted quickly and loved the bike, and only enjoyed the bigger bikes even more. I was cackling like a mad man on the Low Rider ST.
I daily drive the 2020 street bob lol the 114 motor has BARELY more power. Genuinely unnoticeable unless you jump back n forth but the 107 is more responsive. In the first 4 months of riding I put 6000 miles on er. Glad to see folks are loving it as much as I am!
I bought this bike as my last bike a year ago and have 13,000 miles on it. I wanted a naked bobber as my last bike and I really wasn't expecting it to be an 1800cc. Wow..... am I surprised that this bike isn't more popular. I've always been a naked bike fan as I really don't consider the rest of the "stuff" to be part of a motorcycle. I always thought that if I was to build a motorcycle it would be very similar to this design. I'm really drawn to the design of this bike. Although new, it just seems so old school. Coming off sport bikes as I'm not older than dirt this thing seems like a bit of a tankasaurus, but there's no doubt that it's very solid and has plenty of juice. I was looking at a stage IV or crate upgrade, but there's really no point other than bragging rights. Maybe if it was in a trike or some behemoth like that as they likely steal some juice out of the 114, but this engine is certainly enough for this frame style.
I just bought one, and I’m 6’1”. Very happy so far. Actually don’t mind the factory seat. Got a small DART fly screen coming and eventually get the Screamin’ Eagle pipes. Cruise control was a necessity
Traded my 20 ninja 400 krt for an orange one 3 weeks ago. Got bored one sat and went to the dealer just to look and salesman got me to test ride it. I'm 5,7 and 160 got the biggest smile when this thing tried pulling me off the seat. Almost everywhere I go someone compliments it.
That's a beautiful bike !! I just came across your channel in my feed actually and I'm happy to support your efforts and those of other fellow content creators. Keep up the great work and ride safe out there.
Sweet review. Really nice perspective from the sport bike lens. Im trading in my 17 cbr1000rr for this bike. Don't have other sport bikes to ride with anymore and that cbr is only enjoyable ridden fast.
Thanks for watching! The street bob is definitely enjoyable at the lower end RPM ranges. Don’t even think I got out of 3rd gear, even when visibly speeding 🤫
Nice video, funny because I literally traded in my Yamaha FZ07 for this same exact bike. It was the best decision i ever made. Ive always been a naked sport bike guy but once i test rode the low rider s, i fell in love with harleys. I have the same exact bike in this video, its only been 4 months and i have 6000 miles on it and looking forward to many more. I put a fairing, new bars, seat, sissy bar and other goodies and its made it better than it already was. These bikes handle amazing, i even lean in pretty hard in LA canyon corners and never have scraped.. couldn’t ask for more tbh.
With a few extra goodies on it I could imagine it’s even better. Thanks for watching! Enjoy those Cali canyon runs. I’m stuck with mostly flat terrain unless I travel 1.5 hours outside of where I live 😢 and even then it’s hardly anything compared to down there!
@@JaayRides lmao wow what a small world dude, i went with the corbin on the yamaha and loved it, the quality was great besides the fact that it had fitment issues, i had to force it to get it to latch. For my harley, i went with a Saddlemen seat but it was terrible for long rides so i ended up getting a much more comfortable seat directly from Harley for cheaper, its way better, i have videos on my channel if you wanna check out my bike.
@@JaayRides compared to the other Harley’s I have rode, this one packs a punch stock. I feel as if I don’t have to modify it and I will be forever satisfied
How do you think a Street Bob would work out as a first bike for a new rider? I'm looking for a bike I can ride for a couple of years at least after I do the MSF Basic Rider course. I've been looking at the Street Bob, Triumph T100, T120, and a couple of other bikes. I'm in he US and I may have to go with the Triumph if the insurance is too high for the Street Bob starting out. I really like the Street Bob but I'm kind of concerned it might not be a good one to start out on.
I loved your video, i have a streetbob 2021 done loads of mods, you lost me when you mentioned live wire lol, non sustainable and nothing to do with climate control when you dig deeper. Keep Vlogging man like your tone.
Appreciate the love man!! I had done a demo day and the live wire was wicked. Ain’t gonna pretend battery powered vehicles is the answer to pollution but the livewire was still fun as hell to ride and definitely surprised me. Thanks for watching 🙏
I rode the LIVEWIRE afterwards. Check it out here⬇️⬇️

Just realized you had boughten the Corbin because of my review on the MT! Did you also buy a Corbin for the street bob?

How tall are you and how comfortable were you on it?
I’m 6’1, and the controls would need to be in the forward position to be truly comfy
I want the 24 Blue Burst one.
Good review, I had the same reaction as you when I test rode the street Bob 😊 I'm in Brampton....you wanna talk insurance 😮
First piece of advice would be to move outta Brampton for better insurance prices 😂
@@JaayRides you may not believe, takes me two minutes drive to leave Brampton. But I'm still not leaving for insurance rates alone
