@@thomasbarker3761 Yeah. The idea that they blamed the only person to find any because he didn't make it back in time is odd. Less odd when you consider that they all didn't really like him already so they were looking for excuses to blame him. He certainly could use a little coaching socially speaking, but that wasn't his fault.

The ability to keep a straight mind is needed to build a life. Most poor people can’t manage to manage their own thoughts, less their lives. This is a fundamental commonality among them. Emotional decision makers based on short term gratification.

It is a very complex subject and nowhere near black or white here are a few self evidential facts. The starting line is not equal for poor people there is no examples to make better actions and decisions the wealthy get a 100k plus education do not have to take a minimum wage job to keep a roof over their heads and food in their belly. It would not be unusual for the parents to buy them their first house and car. Job wise they do not have to worry firstly because of the support they will get secondly because the old boy network is a real thing and their parents friends or even school friends will sort them out.
I do not claim that the poor are more noble or better they are not if you can arrange to be born into a wealthy family do so and no doubt it comes with its own struggles but looking behind the sofa for enough change for some noodles will not be one of them

I mean you're right, but the "poor" team were already annoyed at the wealthier team for taking all the string and the freshly boiled water, so it makes sense they wouldn't react well to receiving handouts from the team that "stole" from them.
That said, between the bigger girls in the poor camp and Sheree in the wealthy camp, I'm not sure which one has it worse... Its either dead weight or an overbearing bossy leader, both will just add to your stress levels. If those 3 were removed from the island, I would bet decent money that the two groups would instantly merge again and get on.

@@cascade1788Not to make light of your observation, from what I saw and heard was that the snob team had gathered all the string to begin with and were in need of it to build their raft to move. They may have also collected the water and the water can may have originally been there's. It also appeared that they were going to have to start their own fire once they relocated and that normally takes some time and effort, which might have put them in a very bad situation. Whereas, the snoring team already had fire, firewood and gathered water ready. Just my take. I have a feeling that Sheree is going to burn herself out pretty quickly as she is using up a great deal of energy bossing others around and pushing herself too hard to set an example for a bar that she's not going to be able to sustain.

8:20 if anyone didn’t know, “James” is Dr. James Gill, a relatively successful UA-camr who makes instructional videos for medical students. He’s got dozens if not more of videos up, you can search for him. I had no idea he’d done a stint on this show.
I DID know he was a weirdo, but let me tell you, if you’ve got a medical condition, you want a weirdo on your side and not someone who thinks they’re better and more important than 99% of the population.

How tf was it Jame's fault? The guy went out to do something productive and get a valuable resource the group needed. What was he supposed to do rush and risk his safety as well? How bout the others get off their asses and help him so he didn't have to take as long as he did. Imagine if at least one other person went with him and took the 1st cut and tell James "I'm going to bring this to the camp now to keep the fire going." Instead, it's one guy doing all the work and risking his safety for the group. Lady you had one fucking job, James took it upon himself to put the weight of everybody's situation on his shoulders and do something about it. Don't blame him.

But this group is sure full of themselves. Not people I would want to be around, except James. I am not rich. I like my easy, peaceful life in the mountains. I'm not lazy. If I were with a group of lazy people, I'd tell them to get to work, or get off the island. If they didn't contribute anything, then they don't share in it either.

James is TOO nice. People have a hard time getting along with or trusting people who are too nice. He is also terrible at reading social ques. It takes him a long time to realize that he is annoying his survival group. Its great that he is putting himself in situations like this though, he will gain many of the skills he lacks to be socially likable to the average person. I have seen a lot of comments saying, "James is great, why is everybody so hard on James, I love James." truth is that James is a nice guy but can easily get on most peoples nerves.
