In this survival challenge, my girlfriend and I get dropped off on an abandoned island with no food or no water and see if we can survive the day. Trying to make drinking water from saltwater, gathering food, and finding coconuts o this tiny island. survival challenges like this are my favorite. ENJOY.

You need to boil up water under the glass bottle to avoid breaking and tilt it so steam does not have to travel so far. The recipient bottle needs to be placed in wet sand to cool steam. By doing this you will speed up the process and get more fresh water

I kinda like how you two sailed all the way, looking at the beautiful ocean waters before reaching to that abandoned island just like Stranded Deep. I love it!
To improve upon the water distillation: Take another bottle (you got plenty of them), fill it with salt water (you got plenty of that too), and pour this water into the sand surrounding the collection vessel. This will cool down this vessel and the contained steam much better than the air alone. Even when the cooling water gets hot, it will evaporate and thus take a lot of heat away. If you want to increase your yield even further, just regularly pour more salt water, e.g. if the sand dries. You could also bury the collecting bottle a little deeper to give it more surface area for this water cooling. Essentially, this simple trick will result in a higher productivity of fresh/distilled water.

Mate, these videos are picking me up. I grew up around Copacabana beach ( NSW Central Coast), I remember leaving these areas with a few friends and going into the National parks on the coast and doing these short survival treks! Remember eating shell meat - Pippis off the rocks! Also spent a bit of time on Torres Straits Islands. Here I am in built up London, missing the Asia Pacific/Oceania big time!

It's a miracle how each island or shoreline he goes to has washed up coconuts and blue string for him to magically find

The islands are in Indonesia, you will get the same string and rubbish coming from the mainlands or dumping! If you were in my country you will find ashed up plastic coke bottles coz that's popular. And if you know coconut trees are on all islands and also float to shore! Have you ever been to a beach?

Using a double boiler system like a can filled with water and a little sand with bottle of salt water set inside will help the glass from not breaking. It's getting to hot directly on the fire. Finding a plastic tube like hose stuck into bottle end works well. Very interesting video's. I did alot of this outdoor camping/ survival coming up with different ideas on the fly! Good job! Hey !! You can eat conch raw! Conch requires no cookin. You cut a hole in the top with a knife and pull the conch muscle out from its claw and we islanders throw some like on it and eat it. As a child my uncle would catch it, cut the claw off and give it to me while we drove the boat back to the house.
Please visit an island in the Bahamas one day and see some REAL good large conch 🙏🏼❤️❤️ also you’ll be stocked on coconuts we got tons of coconut trees!
My dad just recently caught a wild boar and cleaned it out and roasted it on a fire, he did it all himself he loved it ! You would have an awesome time doing a survival video in The Bahamas !
Last thing- I forgot to mention you still need to clean it before eating raw to get the slime stuff off. Lime is good to use and cut around it

Great vid mate... With the distillation it really helps if the collector bottle is glass as well, and if you can cool it somehow like with wet sand, as all that helps the water vapour cool and so condense back into liquid water, much love!

@diabelski99 I read an article and saw several video debunking them them ayears back. Someone spotted in one of these videos that they were using concrete slabs that locked perfectly machine cut and that they were not actually that deep in the jumgle but just shortly from their villages they live in. Though some have some realism, a majority of these channels from south east Asia are fake and from the same group of poeple. In some videos you can see the vehicle tread marks in othe videos, parts of the wall they digging clearly show smooth spade marks while he is using a stick. BTW to get the machinese there you drive them to the dig site t. You don't see them because they are off camera.
